I purchased these several months ago & was very pleased. They were thick and heavy duty as advertised. I ordered 24 more last week they were marked the same way (heavy duty) they had cast them with a much thinner circumference not much larger than regular plastic hangers. I am very disappointed in this change & will be looking elsewhere hoping to find a product similar to the ones I ordered before.

93% 5 star reviews, when I bought, so I took a chance. 15$ for 15 hangers..... bought 15 target hangers for 2$ to compare. They are 2x as thick but NOT WORTH 7X the cost. I actually read the reviews after I noticed that the majority have the same repetitive tag lines about being made in America and being high quality. (possible fake reviews) I glanced at the Amazon review percentages and figured I couldn't go wrong, but I did. Lesson learned......

Its not as thick as I expected, or not as thick as the one I had before. (You can compare on my pectures) I think thats why it's cheaper. But still I think it should work for coats.

I hang a lot of clothes to dry. I'm a dude, my clothes are big, so I like a sturdy hanger. I've bought this style of hanger for a while now, and I was running low. Instead of just grabbing them where I usually do, I decided to come to Amazon to save myself the drive. I was happy to have found them, PLUS I found my hanger Made in the USA. No doubt the ones I have in my closet are made in China or wherever. But from now in, it's Neaties or nothing. They're sturdy, they came well-packaged, and I'm thrilled to have them.So many people like to complain about China, China, China. How they own us. But they don't. They have cheap labor over there. And we like cheap stuff. They supply that demand. Instead of complaining, the onus is on us to find American companies that make quality products that we want and need. I didn't compare prices of this style of hanger from other manufacturers. But I was perfectly content to pay a couple of bucks more in order to support a stateside business.

Somehow I accidentally ordered two different sets of hangers, these and another cheaper set. I was expecting these hangers to be heavier duty and I was not disappointed. I wanted hangers without the shoulder "notch" as I think the notch leaves wrinkles in the shoulders of clothes. I also wanted heavier duty hangers because my kids are constantly just pulling their clothes off the hanger with a "yank" and breaking the hanger. These fit the bill! It may be hard to see from the small picture but in a larger picture there is no doubt that these hangers (on the left in in the picture) are much bigger in width than the other cheap set I bought (on the right). Worth the extra cost without a doubt!

The "heavy duty" is misleading. This is a decent basic hanger. It is good quality, but not the "Heavy Duty" I was looking for. The description is misleading, which is a pain for me and Amazon because I returned them. I would much prefer a seller describe it as it truly is. For $1 each, it is fine. The Extra heavy duty ones are $1.33 and well worth the extra in my opinion.

These are a very good "midweight" hanger (see attached picture). The thin hanger is typical of what you buy at the box stores. The middle hanger is the one purchased here. The "thick" hanger is also bought from a big box store. These are more than enough for most of your clothes needs. I would not hesitate to hang most jackets on them either.

I am disabled and have use of only one hand/arm. I need a strong hanger that can withstand my occasional yanking something off a hanger. I hang up all my slacks, tops, dresses, jackets, everything. These hangers are absolutely perfect for me. They definitely handle my sweatshirts and sweat pants which can be bulky and heavy. They are extremely strong and smooth which makes it easy for me to use them. I've tried other brands and found the hooks stuck out too far and caused me to catch or tear other items of clothing. These hangers have the hook but it is inside the hanger making it very easy for me to put things on the hook and then hang them without concern of the hook catching and tearing other items. They do take up more hanging space but trust me it is well worth it. By far the best heavy duty hangers I have. And they are made in the USA!!
