Shimano SL-TZ500 SIS thumb shifter, 6-speed, right hand

Got this to replace my sons twist shifters as he had trouble using them, they work really well and he loves them, the cables come pre installed and installation was a breeze. A great quality budget shimano part.

Used to change from twist shifter on kids bike as it was nearly impossible to change, easy to install and so much easier for the child to change gears now.

It's not perfect, not like a trigger shifter, but I couldn't find a six speed trigger shifter anywhere. I used it to replace a twist shifter on a folding bike. The twist shifter didn't have any increments, you just turned it until something happened. Then after a gear change you would be riding along and it would change down. It was so hit and miss it had to go. This is better but it's not 100% accurate. Some times it changes well, then it doesn't change, or changes two. I fitted new outer cable at the same time but no matter how long I spent trying to adjust it I couldn't get the change perfect. I'm going to run it for a while and see if the cable stretches at all and then re-adjust.

Simple to fit and works perfectly with my existing setup. Quick delivery as promised.

グリップシフトが故障したので自分で取り換えるために購入、 youtubeで交換方法を勉強して作業すると簡単にできました。 親指で押すシフトダウンは軽く変速できる、しかし反対のシフトアップは 親指ではやりにくく人差し指でやらないと変速しにくいし、そうなると 変速機と手の位置がしっくりこない。 もう少し慣れればうまく扱えるかもしれない。 この値段はお買い得だと思う。

J'ai acheté cette commande de vitesses pour remplacer un levier sur un vieux vélo de course qui était placée sur le cadre, et je l'ai montée sur le guidon pour qu'il soit plus facilement accessible. Ca marche à merveille!
