I was using a cheap analog gauge so far but it wasn't accurate and nozzle used to leak air while testing. My 6 years old air Inflator (EMPORIS Brand) also has analog gauge and it was good until recently it started having issues with the needle (Instead of reverting to zero (when not in use) it stays at 2-3 PSI). Recently I have bought new tyres for my car and I thought to get a digital tyre pressure gauge as well to keep the air pressure accurate. This Stanley digital tyre pressure gauge cost me Rs. 899/- and because of the brand name "Stanley", it is expensive compared to other unbranded digital gauges. The device has built-in lights (On the front and for lcd) for use at night and it uses two different size cells (One for the front led and other for the gauge). It has a button in the front to turn ON and change the units (PSI, BAR, KPA & KG/CM²). To check tyre air pressure, we have to press the button to turn ON, wait a sec till it shows zero, change the units if required, press the gauge firmly on the valve stem for a sec or two and remove it. It will show the reading for 10-15 secs and then revert to zero for testing again. If not used for 30 secs then it will automatically turn OFF. Quality of the device is very good and it works as intended. Recommended if you don't mind the price.

Very good quality

The gauge is pretty accurate when you are able to use it. The problem is in terms of actually using it. Here's why: 1. When using it on bikes/cycles, it, being so fat and long, is very difficult to align with the valve and take a reading quickly without letting out the air you have already pumped in. It takes multiple attempts and more often than not, you need to pump in air again after taking the reading. 2. The on on-off switch is so sensitive, that even when just trying to take a reading, the gauge resets. The is without even touching the switch. This combined with #1, make it a ready pain to use. I bought it since it was a Stanley branded one but it looks like it is just a generic gauge with very poorly thought of ergonomics.

Seems a design problem. Very difficult to get the right fit and accurate measurement. besides has a problem of leaking air post measurement by upto 2 psi making the shole process redundant and completely inaccurate. Better hold onto to the traditional analog gauges.

Worked fine for 2 years, then LED started blinking.needed battery replacement. working fine again.

Sturdy and Robust Build quality. Using this is very easy and the reading is pretty much accurate. I've cross checked this @air refill station and reading from both are in sync. there are two leds -- at the connector and the tiny screen. it also reads, diff units as well. just press the button to get the reading in diff units. This is very handy for me! I use this for cold tyre pressure monitor at my garage!

Accurate readings and Good Quality as Stanley brand is good
