This air compressor is fantastic. Several reviews described it as loud. This is quieter than most air compressors I’ve owned or operated. It fills fast and has functioned great. Good product!

It is a pretty loud but worth the money if you plan on using it with nail guns.

Works well with air tools requiring 4 CFM @ 90 psi but is very loud. Compared to the Dewalt DWFP55130, the 200 PSI 6-gallon tank pancake portable Metabo air compressor is louder and takes longer to recharge but the Dewalt is only rated for 3 CFM @ 90 psi. I actually like the Dewalt better than the Metabo as it operates my air ratchet almost the same as the Metabo and takes much less time to recharge than the Metabo. If I had to do it again, I would have bought a larger portable air compressor with a tank larger than Metabo's 6 gallon tank and which would be rated for at least 6-8 CFM @ 90 psi. I think the Metabo is a fine portable air compressor, better than the Harbor Freight 6 Gallon Fortress 175 PSI pancake compressor I used to own, I would probably size up to a Dewalt D55146 or a Metabo EC1315S if I had to do it again.

Works great for our garage and everyday use. The pressure is great. My husband can load the tank to take to mow older family members yards.

This is the quietest of 3 units I've tested so far. 1st I tried the Kobalt, pretty loud and had an unacceptable leak with nothing attached. Then I tried the Husky, again very loud and also had a leak with no tools or air line attached. Returned both. Purchased this due to all the positive reviews I've run across and am glad I did. This unit is surprisingly quiet for a 6 gal 1.3HP unit. After pressing up to 200 psi, it dropped down to 190 PSI after a couple hours and stayed there for several days. The regulator seems to be of a better quality than the previous two. It's a bit heavier (41 lbs compared to 28 lbs and 31.2 lbs respectively) and slightly bulkier than the other 6 gal units but I feel you get what you pay for with this one. I will update this review once I actually get a decibel reading to share.

Price was right, works just fine. Runs the corresponding tools without skipping a beat.

Good compressor, not for high volume applications of paint but cfm and recovery are good enough if you paint at a slower speed.
