Blues Buster Full Spectrum Light Bulbs, 100 watt Frosted. Shines Like The Sun, Natural Light, Dimmable Bulbs for Everyday Use.

I buy these more expensive bulbs for several reasons. They are aptly named 'blues busters' because of their full spectrum capabilities so if you get seasonal affective disorder (winter blues) or suffer similar maladies, these are a great supplement. I do feel like I have been sitting in the sun or been out in the sun when I have been in my rooms that have good exposure to these bulbs. I use 100W in my bathroom, for example. Secondly, they actually do, in the right lamp set up, provide additional warmth to your environment (by my sitting chair is yummy in the winter with a 60W). You will want to consider this when choosing both the wattage & the lamp. Also, because I get soooooo much more mileage from the use of these full spectrum bulbs vs 'regular' bulbs (probably 3 or 4 regular to one full spectrum) I feel the cost of these are fully justified.

This bulb works great for getting my body those much needed full spectrum light benefits. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needed if that extra morning boost.

I love these bulbs! They help so much indoors providing a sun like experience inside. It helps with the Seasonal Affective Disorder I have too. These bulbs are a lifesaver!

I bring out my Blues Busters every Autumn, and use them to supplement the ebbing natural light during the Fall & Winter. I put them in my reading lamps ~ the full spectrum light is good for me and for my plants. I feel like I'm relaxing in the sunlight. My Papperwhites and my Jewel Orchid sent their bloomimg stalks sideways, to flower up inside the lampshades. After 8 years, I am replacing one of the bulbs.

I purchased two bulbs for my floor lamp next to my reading chair. This allows the light to shine at an angle without glare into my eyes.

I have had full spectrum bulbs in the past which lasted for years. This particular one blew out shortly after it arrived. I should never have bought this brand. I always bought Verilux in the past and they lasted for years

I used to love these in spite of cost. Something has changed. The necks fall off of the bulbs, bulbs last a few days or a month and then burn out. The company takes no responsibility for their product anymore. I don't know if they changed manufacturers or what. I'm looking for a replacement.
