Can't be relied on. I purchased the nitcore as part of my light weight backing gear after reading the reviews. Just left me stranded without power on my last overnight trip. It was fully charged when I set out. Upon arriving at my camp site it was dead leaving me no way to charge my phone. I'm guessing it drained because the usb cable stayed plugged in which is a really lame design if that's the case. Really sucks when you can't trust a piece of your gear especially when you went the extra mile to research and purchase what you thought was a quality product.

Great! But make sure you unplug from the bank when not charging. It will slowly drain. I learned this the hard way. This one is awesome though!! The 2 types of charge port came in clutch!!

As light and thin as advertised, measured at 5.3oz. The mode button sticks out too much and is too easy to press, including accidentally in a bag. This wouldn't be that big of a problem except for the "hidden hibernate mode" included in a printed FAQ included in the package by NITECORE. Basically if something gets pressed against the side of your charger for more than 10 seconds in your bag, the power bank is completely disabled until the next time you charge it. Doesn't matter if the battery is full, no other way to get out of the hibernation mode, literally a useless paperweight until you can get it plugged into an outlet. I've modified mine with a cover for the button as shown in my pictures using a rubber band, some plastic from a bottle and super glue, but we shouldn't have to do this to make it reliable when the entire purpose of a power bank is to be a reliable backup that you can keep in a bag.

Plains and simple this thing is amazing. I have the original version and the 2nd Gen. bot have been awesome and no issues at all, I have taken them on backcountry hunts, hikes, and international trips and always had confidence in them. They are slim, charge pretty quickly and give my iPhone, AirPods, garmin and you name what else a fast charge. When traveling it goes in my sling bag and you almost forget it’s there because it’s so light and small, I recommend this to everyone that needs a power bank. I plan on getting the on that’s twice the size as well. Can’t go wrong with these.
