Fabulous practical advice for creative taglines
It's rare to find a book that teaches creative skills in a truly practical way - but Sam Horn has done it.This book is full of techniques and processes to create engaging and memorable titles, product names and tag lines. The title "POP" is an acronym for Purposeful, Original and Pithy; and it's in the latter two areas that this book really shines. Although Sam can't write the perfect tag line for you, she gives you plenty of practical processes to help you do it yourself. For example, she suggests looking up your key words and phrases in a cliche database (such as a Web site for cliches), and using the results to find a suitable cliche you can adapt slightly to match your message. That's a simple idea, but a powerful one. And the book is crammed with dozens of others just like it.This should definitely sit on every marketer's, copywriter's and business owner's shelf, alongside classics such as Word That Sell.

Simple as promised
I love this book. It's simple to read and understand. I'm working through it as my time allows and implementing into many aspects of my business from idea phase to finished project. But this is not just for an advertising idea. I'm using it for everything from my website to a new book idea to how to market my coaching business. Great tool that can be used as a workbook on every project you develop.

Catchy Slogans Do Make a Difference
I liked the stories and examples relating to what makes a message Pop! There is so much more than just having a good product for it to sell. You should read this book to get ideas for your next catchy phrase. It is the attention of your audience that you need to attract. This book shows you how.

Pop, Is A Resource I Know I Will Keep Within Reach
I watched Sam Horn in a short TED video, I knew I had to get this book that she referred to in her talk. The same amazing person that I experienced in her talk, spoke through each and every page of her book. She is so likeable and real. It was hard to put this book down. It's memorable, because Sam is the queen of making things memorable in a remarkable way. Her generosity in sharing exactly how to stand out is to be commended. I know I will keep this book on my desk to use as a resource for when I need that unique inspiration to set myself apart from the masses who do what I do. I know I will also keep this book close to refer to as I seek ideas to help others build the confidence they are longing for. I don't know of anyone who wouldn't benefit from reading this book and keeping it close at hand.

A must read for anyone in business
What an amazing book! With chapter after chapter of unique methods to devise winning titles or product names, Sam Horn kept me on my toes. Her examples were mind-blowing with such clever concepts like the "poop tent" for an outdoor place for dogs to do their business. Anyone needing a unique name, whether for a book, a product, an article, or a business will find countless clever concepts in POP!. I'm still working on my book title, and hope that when I find it and I launch my book, it will POP!

Very good techniques, but poor writing style
The techniques introduced in the book are very good, BUTthe author talks waaaay too much about his personal stories, it makes the book very long and boring to read, ain't nobody has time for that. To the author: I don't care that you experienced this and that with the techniques, I just want the technique man. You can write down a short (max one paragraph) experience you had with the technique to back-up the technique, but not that looong. I found myself trying to skip the stories and filter out the technques through the whole book.

One of The Most Useful Books On My Shelf
I watched the author on a webinar deliver so much value in 60 minutes. Could the book have that much more to say? Way more. I am so impressed with the value Sam Horn delivers. How can I say this simply? If you are trying to name something like a book, a product, an idea, an article, a service then just buy this book. Don't if and but and maybe, just but this book. It will be the fastest path to you getting the name you are happy with PLUS you'll have a new skill that will serve you well for life. Love it. Love it.

Excelentes consejos, demasiado relleno.

Must have for all who need to pitch anything!
Awesome!!!It's written in such a way that you can actually apply it right away to a project and end with the taglines titles... Like a workbook...Her intention is clearly to enable us to write and Pop! And it works.Definitely recommend it.
