Totally worth it!
I purposely searched through my orders to go back and review this item. I bought it in 2024, I never used it until the end of 2025. I am SO glad I bought this. I was having some plumbing issues in my new house and had to rely on this toilet to get me through. First of all, I couldn't find the instructions. It was easy to assemble...I got it put together without the instructions and then found the instructions in the inner bowl...after I'd finished putting it together. (FYI :D) I weigh about 215 lbs and I was a little scared at first that it might not be sturdy enough, but it held up and was comfortable to sit on. Also, it was not too low to the ground either. Just the right height. Reasonably sized inner bucket with a lid on top. I recommend getting some bags to go inside to make clean up easier. The brand I got was Turmaster and they seemed to work well. The inner bucket has a handle and lid on top. Easy to carry to empty, you can take it right to the trash with no worries about mishaps. The lid to the inner bucket helps to control odor. You lift the lid, lift the seat, remove the cover, put the seat back down and go. If you're having to use this toilet as a back up, like I did. It comes with this rubbery weather stripping thing that you wrap around the bottom to keep from scratching your floor. This toilet was a total lifesaver to me in a difficult time. I can't say enough good things about it. The only issue is a very minor one. that thing that sticks out on the side doesn't really hold the toilet paper as pictured. You can set a roll on top of it easily, however. I would say it's a very good value for the price. Whether you're camping or using it as a back up for bad plumbing, this toilet is a great option.

Pleased with this Product!
Love it! Decided to buy after several years of wanting a portable toilet in my half finished basement. Suffering from OAB, sometimes trying to rush up the stairs to use the half-bath in our home was a challenge. We have a small hidden area behind a false wall in the basement, which we outfitted with a stick-on light. I put a small amount of water in the holding tank, added a small amount of concentrated orange odor-control product (sold on Amazon) made for septic tanks and portable toilets, and placed hand-sanitizer nearly. Will empty in your toilet and rinse at the end of the evening before bed in the upper level of our townhouse On a personal note, I feel free now to hydrate with water throughout the day as there's always a toilet nearby! I'm no lightweight and this feels sturdy. I wouldn't plop down on it, though. However, the seat is adult-sized and feels very secure. The rubber keeps the unit from slipping about on the floor. As far as some reviews saying that the top and the bottom don't fit, it's just a matter of maneuvering the sides appropriately and the top and bottom will fit securely - I suggest two people working on fitting the top and bottom simultaneously and they'll fit perfectly. I'm using this only for liquid waste, but if I were on a camping trip and using it for solid waste, I would definitely fill the bucket with a plastic bag waterproof bag with a some water, and odor control concentrate for easier disposal. The disposal bucket is easy to remove. It is deep and can hold a lot of liguid. It has a handle on it and a top to cover the bucket. However, just in case, I would place one hand on the bottom of the pot to ensure no spillage on the chance of the handle breaking or anything. I would also cover the floor under the toilet with something waterproof like large puppy training pads or a plastic pad to keep your floors clean and sanitary. Overall I find this product a gamechanger for someone suffering with OAB and needing a nearby facility. It's discreetly hidden away, but closeby meeting my needs. Highly recommended for the height, adult-sized seat, and sturdiness for adults.

Best option for a close-to-floor commode
We use this as a commode for a person with a disability. This portable toilet comes in two parts: the main part with the toilet bucket and seat, and an optional extender to elevate the device to be the height of a normal toilet. You can see the seam on the photo of the listing where the extender attaches to the main commode. We use this without the extender, so the commode is only a foot or so off the ground, closer to squatting rather than sitting in a chair. This is perfect for what we needed. Some notes: Like other reviewers have noted, the optional toilet paper holder is poorly designed, we don’t use it. The product is very sturdy and no risk of toppling over when it’s used close to the ground, without the extender. Other reviewers have noted it becomes less stable when you use the extender to make it taller. You can choose to go directly into the bucket and then clean the bucket, or to use plastic commode liners and absorbent pads (which turns liquid into gel) and you can simply tie off the plastic bag and throw the waste away. If you use extra absorbent pads you can use the commode 2-3 times before needing to throw away the liner. You can also have a caregiver prep the commode with multiple layers of liners and pads, so when you take out a full bag the commode is already prepped and ready to go for next time. The white bucket inside can only have commode liners added and can only have its lid taken on and off when the black toilet seat is lifted up. This makes it a little more effort to use as you have to lift the black toilet seat up before and after going. I wish this design flaw was fixed to make it faster and easier to access the bucket! All commodes will have issues with condensation on the lid from the warm liquid in the bucket. This is unavoidable. Keep in mind if you don’t lift the black toilet seat to put the white lid on the bucket after going, the condensation will build up on the black toilet lid, which can then get on your back next time you sit down. So be sure to put the white lid on! Overall I think this is the best option if you want a commode close to the ground, but with some design fixes it could be even better.

Perfect for my garage gym
Love this portable toilet. Since I don't have a bathroom in the garage gym, this works perfectly. Would also take it wherever a portable toilet could be used, like camping. Just be careful when picking up the bucket, as it tends to tilt forward when used.

So handy!
Game changer. I 'm 63. I usually camp in state parks that have restroom facilities. Even so, getting out of the van in the dark, cold, 2 am is no picnic. This toilet is sturdy, tall enough, and easy to set up and use in my minivan. I will never go camping without this!

Study yoilet
This is a well made portable potty. Very sturdy. Looks like a toilet. Lid helps contain odor. We bought for temporary use in above garage bathroom. I would not tote the bucket by the handle, potential for spilling contents.

Convenient And stylish
I ordered this for my mother & she has it close to her bed. It is very convenient, stylish, lightweight and the price was good. The downside is: 1) I wish it had a choice of a taller model 2) It seems to not be connected very well where the top half connects to the bottom half. It squeaks when you turn a little bit sideways to get the toilet paper like it’s going to break in half. 3) As others have mentioned the toilet paper holder is not of normal size and doesn’t hold a roll of toilet paper securely. 4) The toilet top lid falls forward when you sit on the toilet and does not want to stay up. 5) The rubber ring at the bottom, keeps coming off and it’s not tight enough to stay on. I had to run glue along the bottom edge and push the ring on so we will see how that works. My mom only weighs 158 so well below what the weight limit says. With all this said, mom wants to keep it.🤷🏻♀️
