The Dogedu®Anti-Bark Collar stops barking with progressively increasing sound and shock which is controlled by a microprocessor distinguishing your dog bark from other environmental noises and automatically delivers sound and shock after each bark, most of the pets will quickly understand the new sensation is telling her to be quiet. It can be adjusted to control the sensitivity of the voice, according to the size of dogs barking. This technique of progressively increasing sound and shock is not only more humane, it is more effective in breaking the barking habit than conventional shocking bark control collars. How to it works: At the first bark, the Collar applies a short warning tone . if a second bark occurs within thirty seconds, a more intense tone is sounded. From the third bark, a more intense tone is sounded along with a short , mild shock. This pattern is repeated through 7 correction levels. The first two levels are only with progressively warning tone. If your dog continues to bark through the rest five levels, the more intense sound and shock are applies until your dog stops for thirty seconds, and then it will automatically resets to the first "tone only" level of correction. If the continuous stimulus reaches the 7 levels, then the Collar will stop working for 1 minutes to protect the dog. The use of the warning tone sets up a pattern that your dog will quickly learn is caused by its own barking. It takes time to break bad habits. When your dog forgets and barks again, the warning tone reminds your dog without immediately applying painful stimulus. NOTE: When using your Bark Control Collar for the first time, fit the adjustable strap to your dog and wait nearby until your dog barks. Most pets will quickly understand the new sensation is telling her to be quiet.

Silence in house - awesome! The only reasons I did not rate this ...
I purchased this product to address an ever increasing yapping issue with my Pomeranian. She's always been a yappy dog, but when she finally (after two years) decided that she would attempt to play with the resident Doberman, she would bark incessantly when he was loose in the house with her. The collar said it would stop problem barking in three days, but it didn't take more than one day with her. She is completely and totally aware that the collar moves on to the zap stage after the first bark, and she stops immediately when she gets the first tone. Problem solved. Silence in house - awesome! The only reasons I did not rate this collar an excellent are the battery and the actual collar strap. The battery 4A76 is a semi-obtuse photo battery that isn't carried most places. I had to actually go to a local battery store to find the battery. As to the collar strap, the collar states that it works for dogs 5lbs and up, but at my Pomeranian's 8lbs, it was very difficult getting the adjustment necessary to get the collar down to the size of her neck and took all of the adjustment range available. The adjustment needs to have more accessible range for the small dogs or a different length collar strap available for smaller dogs.

Shock collar
Not so sure about this one. Went off one time and kept apparently sending the shock...replaced with an only noise and vibration unit.
