Excellent product, easy to use, works great, waterproofing excellent not sticky, gives canvas a nice patina. Very soft and durable.

I reviewed and priced the limited competition, and selected Cobler's Choice. I suspect canvas wax is something of a commodity with little meaningful difference between the handful of available products. Cobler's Choice offers the best value by a significant margin.I applied it to two canvas hats which had lost their water repellency. One was a Filson canvas hat and the other a baseball style cap from Duluth Pack. The application was an easy and left the headgear with a beautiful wax sheen that will undoubtedly repel water. It really seemed to soak into the fabric and makes both look like brand new!I have plenty of wax left for touch-ups, if needed, or for other applications. Cobler's Choice is an excellent product at a fair price.

Good wax for water repellent easy to use and lasts a good amount of time. Light wax smell, dirt sticks to it.

I really love this product. I used it on a black canvas. It was extremely water resistant and had a very nice shine. Would recommend very high-quality product.

I have a 4 oz lightweight Barbour jacket that needed re-waxing. I was unable to find the Barbour wax in stock anywhere. There were a couple of options available on Amazon, this and Otter brand. I chose this as it was a slightly larger bar at a lower price.Waxing was a simple process, rub this on the fabric as evenly as possible, and then melt (and rub more with my fingers) in with a heat gun. A hairdryer can also be used but a heat gun works more quickly. It was very easy and the wax was easy to work with.Results were good if not a little uneven. After letting the jacket sit a couple days, which I was able to completely even out the wax by turning the jacket inside out, and tumble drying on high heat for about 15 minutes, after which the jacket came out looking like new. I used a little less than 1/2 the bar for a men's Lg jacket.

A 3 ounce bar is good for 3 boonie hats. It has a neutral scent and it moisturizes your hands while you wax your hat or clothing.

Bought this as it was quicker than the original stuff i bought to wax my canvas Levi's jacket. Other stuff did leave it stiffer and darker but repels water much better and gave it the rustic look I was going for. The cobblers choice I put 4-5 applications on and it doesn't feel like its on as well. Has a funk to it also, almost like hay or dead leaves. Personally will try something else before I go with this again
