I use their collagen powder but I bought capsules so I could take them anytime rather than always having to mix the powder into a smoothie. The powder is totally flavorless so the capsules are easy to swallow and you don't get any aftertaste. Since these are capsules they will also be easier to travel with (once we can travel again).I also like that the collagen is from a reputable source and the animals are treated humanely. I used to use a cheap mass produced collagen and changed to Alaya when I realized I didn't know how the animals the other company used were being treated or what they were being fed. I eat grass-fed beef so it only seemed right that my supplements be the same quality.I started taking collagen for my skin & joints now that I'm in my 40s but my nails are growing fast and seem stronger now, too.

This supplement is really great! It helped the pain in my joints and I think that in itself makes it wonderful for me.

Arrived quickly. I feel these really help my aging skin and increases my energy. Didn't really help with pain.

It’s really hard when it comes to supplements. My research indicates this is one of the top brands, so go for it. I haven’t noticed any results. That’s not to say there won’t be, I just expected to notice.

This is my first experience with collagen supplements and I chose Alaya because I do Jillian Michael's workouts and she takes these; though, I really don't go by what some 'celebrity' does so that wasn't the only reason I tried them--they received really good reviews and their website is well-done and informative.Still, I was nervous. I don't like taking supplements as my body reacts to EVERYthing. And, I don't like putting things in my body without knowing exactly what I'm taking.But my doctor said my bone scan showed some changes and that made me sit up and do some research. My research led to begin taking my calcium again, and to start taking a collagen supplement.I take two a day instead of the 3 they suggest. One in the morning and one in the evening.ZERO side effects. ZERO issues. I can't even tell I am taking them.Do they work? Well, that's more difficult to tell since things happen in our bodies that we can't see. But when I have my next bone scan, I'm curious to see what it will show.But, what is cool is I think they are helping my hair. I've been on them a few months and what surprised me is my eyebrows are definitely fuller, so it's likely I'm having some hair growth as well, which would be nice as I have baby fine thinner hair.I'm a skeptic about EVERYTHING but I can't deny that my brows have grown fuller. I see more fullness that I haven't seen in years. Since I was taking them for my bones, this is a nice 'side effect' that pleases me.Since I don't eat a lot of meat and very very rarely red meat, I'm hoping these will continue to work well for me.
