Excellent weather station!I spent way more money on my last weather station that was never accurate with the wind speed and had no rain gauge. This one seems to be spot on with the wind speed and direction along with the temperature and other measurements. The console is a good size, and easy to read. I've only had it up two days but just now checked the wind speed and direction and the console shows 8.9 mph SSW. I checked weather.com for our area and it shows 9 mph SSW!Initial set up was easy, the manual walks you through the setup, the only issue I had was the manual stated it takes 30 min. to connect the unit and console while within 10 feet of each other in the house. I waited the 30 min. and it still showed 14 mph wind speed and 20 degrees temp difference while the unit was laying on the counter near the console. I went to bed and when I got up in the morning everything was perfect so it might take a bit more than stated for accurate connectivity.I am very impressed with their customer service. I phoned their 800 number and a technical support agent answered immediately, no hold time and she was able to completely answer any of my questions quickly, courteously and accurately.This is definitely a 5 star product with awesome customer service after the sale.

I have had my Sainlogic weather station for over two years. The unit was dropping the signal and I didn’t know what to do. I contacted customer service and they walked me thru the process to get the display working. I would highly recommend this weather station which is accurate as confirmed by checking the station against the local weather service. Customer service was great to work with and I was happy to get my display working again.

I used to have a similar weather station but it was destroyed during a major thunderstorm. Decided to get this new model which is smaller and take up less space on my desk.What’s good- easy to setup with clear instructions on the manual and quick start guide.- power adapter for the display is included, I keep it running without installing batteries, which is meant for back up of settings- slimmer display compare to my old model, but essential information which I am interested in are all there- non glaring display, large colorful and easy to read font.- The sensor is well build, mine lasted for years before it was destroyed by thunderstorms. There is a build-in solar panel so I never need to change battery after more than a year- You can connect the weather station to wifi so that you can check the details using the app- You can pair the station with 3rd party website to contribute weather data automaticallyImprovement needed- I was surprised that battery isn’t included- the sensor need to be installed away from building or trees. Will be nice if it comes with extension rode to make the sensor higher or away from any structure- no instruction to pair the weather station with 3rd party website. Need some research and technical skills to get it configured properly

Everything pretty close EXCEPT rain gauge failure. Did read when water poured in before install. Then zero...we have had over 3 inches of rain...rain gage ZERO.

The media could not be loaded. First of let me tell you that this is a fantastic buy for me. It does everything I need and a little more. Right from unboxing to setting this weather station up, I was up and going within 10-15 minutes. Very, very easy to set this up. There are two sets of instructions. Quick set up, will have you up and going in about 5-10min. Then there are the more detailed instructions that you can read through all the functions of the weather station. You can mount the main sensor unit virtually anywhere. Round pole, wooden stake, a fence, roof, pole, it has endless mounting option. I mounted it to a squared off stake at first as I wanted to test it before I kept it and placed it in a final mounting position. The testing went great so now I am looking for a permeant mounting spot. The outside sensor unit required 3 AA batteries, and I highly recommend getting chargeable ones, so you don't have to replace them, (Just a little tip the manual doesn't state) I highly recommend calibrating the water collection portion right away so it will give accurate readings. Very simple to do. Also, when installing make sure to position the rear end of the sensor unit facing south to get accurate wind readings as well. The LCD unit also requires batteries, or you can plug it in. I have had the unit as far as 30 feet + away from the outdoor sensor kit and it has been working flawlessly for me, even though a brick wall. The lcd screen can be table or wall mounted. My 2 biggest features for me are the wind speed and directions as I use this information when I am out flying my drones and I can have a real time wind readings which are amazing for me. The rain collector feature is nice because I can gauge how much or little, I have to water my lawn/garden. I like also how I get more real weather readings than my news because I have the sensor in my back yard. Helps me in the morning if I need a jacket or not. Overall, I am really satisfied with this purchase, if you have a need for this, this is honestly a great, easy to use weather station.

Got this to keep better track of the weather around the house. Setup took about 10 minutes, no issues. Instructions were clear.Mounted the sensor out back and it’s held up fine, even in some strong wind. Gives me accurate readings for temp, wind, rain, and humidity. Display is bright and easy to read from across the room. I like that I can check real conditions before deciding what to wear or if I need to water the lawn.Also comes with extras like moon phase and a built-in clock. Runs on batteries or a wall plug. No disconnects so far.If you want local weather without relying on an app, this gets the job done.
