This is perfect for what I needed to keep track of my work tasks and my college assignments all in one. My boss, someone I've know for a very long time, uses her Day-Timer like its a lifeline. I admire her impeccable organization, so I got this to try to get started being organized too. I wanted one that was sturdy and zipped closed, but since I've never used one before, it seemed silly to invest in a real expensive leather one.This one is PERFECT! I'm very happy with my purchase. It's slightly bigger than I expected, but that's just because my estimation of sizes suck anyway :) The sample blank pages it came with are excellent, but I recently switched to the pre-dated Day-Timer filler pages because my boss ordered too many for herself and just gave me a set.It's simple, sturdy, and easy to use: all around a good quality product, especially for this great price. Now I just have to learn to use it diligently!

Details the manufacturer didn't emphasize:- It is larger than you might think. I ordered the personal size, and it is approximately 8" x 11"; there is about a full inch between the paper and the top, bottom, and side of the case. This is good, I think, because there is ample room for bookmarks or pens or whatnot. However, this will not fit into a medium purse, etc, if that is your goal. There are 7 rings.- The "starter package" is actually a FULL (undated) year, complete with tabs for every month and tabs (A-Z) in the back for an address book. There are monthly and daily pages.- The monthly pages have notes sections on the back, so you can separate them into the different tabs and do not have to keep them together. Mine also had, in the margin, the several years of months (e.g. April had April calendars from 2013-2019 on the right margin of the page).- There is a notepad in the back with punched holes, so you can add notes to the binder.- Other accessories include a plastic envelope, business/credit card holders, and a bookmark (all with hole punches). There's also a black plastic thing in the front, but I'm not sure what that is.- The front cover has a pocket you can slide things into. The inside has a larger, medium, and two small pockets. The back inside cover has a pen holder.

This is a excellent day timer for keeping track of activities, planning, taking notes, scheduling appointments, and general diary use. It comes with an assortment of office management tools (more than I ever use). The quality of the binder is first rate. I like that I can keep all of my activities in one place. This helps me stay organized. I would highly recommend this planner for anyone who likes to have all your pertinent information and tools at your finger tips.

I had a Day-Timer that I purchased 15 years ago. I carried it with me everywhere; I used it for meeting notes, reminders, doodling and loved having the ability to write my daily activities. I lost it about two months ago and was going CRAZY. I did not want to spend the more than $40 to get a new one from Day-Timer, and then I found this one. I think that the style is fantastic. I can keep three months of my 2-page per day calendar in it, my notes in the inside pockets, and papers that I need to access quickly in the outside folder. It contains everything I need to work and be successful in my daily planning. I am working at breaking it in, however this is almost as good as my old faux elephant hide one. I recommend this for anyone who thinks that a tablet means that you can use a pen on it.

Great planner, not to big for carrying around, not to small for larger writing. Very nice inserts!

After extensive research looking for an everyday planner, I decided this was my best option. I am so happy I chose this Desk Size Recycled Leather Planner. I received it exactly as described. In addition, I ordered 2 page per day refills. The blank month view calendar was an unexpected delight as I was able to pick and choose which holidays I wanted to include. I utilized both the starter pages thay came with the planner and the new refills that I ordered in addition. It was a great price for the level of detail I am able to produce. This planner was exactly what I wanted.

I expected it to have more room to write. I guess I should have researched more thoroughly as the one I had before was a two page and had actual dates. This one you have to write the dates in. I will be more careful when I reorder new packs.

I bought this after my Franklin Covey binder started to fall apart after four years of heavy use. I couldn't bear to spend eighty dollars on a Franklin Covey planner but I really like the FC format and didn't want to change. I knew there had to be an alternative to their expensive binders. This binder is WAY better! It's leather, it has more pockets, and it zips closed! Now even if I forget to secure my pen I don't lose it. My Franklin Covey planner fit perfectly in the binder.
