I am very disappointed because it came out nothing like the photo
I have been looking for a hot pink glaze for along time. I was thrilled when I came across this. Well, I am very disappointed because it came out nothing like the photo. I even tried it twice. So glad I did sample tiles before using it on my project.

Not even CLOSE to the same color.
The actual color of the fired glaze is not even close to the pink they picture. It's closer to Pepto Bismol pink - but slightly warmer. Not even a pretty pink. SO disappointed in the product. Less than 1 star for not being what they pictured.

Bright white with good coverage
This is a very bright white and opaque with a couple coats. I always have good results with Speedball products. If you use them as the label guides you, High in High fire, Low in Low fire, and stay within the recommendations, these are almost foolproof. Some will run a bit more than others, so read the specs and think in advance how you should apply them. Some need heavier applications than others, or one coat may be all you need. Read information on the products, make notes when you do test chips and for each new use. You will find consistency is the key to every good outcome. This product needs to be gently but well stirred before the 1st brushed application. Or if you have enough to dip, this is a good glaze for that.

Big waste of money
This glaze was a total waste of $! Glaze pulled away from clean bisque. Color was nothing as picture shown. Glaze was so thick, and needed to thin. Once mixed well, glaze was so full of bubbles, making it almost impossible to apply! Not only did i lose the glaze cost, i also lost all my bisqueware cost also. Never will i purchase this brand again!

Love the color, but hate the pin holes
I love the color of the glaze. I tested it on a small piece of pottery, and it was perfect, i used it on a mug to minic the northern lights, the only pin holes i ever have gotten are with this glaze and on only that strip of green. If you use this glaze, don't get it too thick and slooow cool to reduce pinholes.

Not pink
This is a salmon color and not at all pink!

Great Glaze
Glaze does not separate nor peel off bisque piece. True red color as well. Have never had any problems with the SpeedBall brand either.

Dark blue isn't quite black
Arrived with a very cracked lid, have been storing wrapped tightly in grocery bags, but what's really been bothering me has been that the glaze comes out somewhat blue. I don't know how the cracked lid could have affected the glaze itself, drying out and whatnot... Maybe I just didn't stir it enough, all I know is it's kind of splotchy, kind of iridescent and matches my natural-indigo sketchbook. Mug on photo has 3 layers of the black on the inside, on top of a red bodied Amaco clay.

Not as it looks
The glaze can pull a bit so not guaranteed an even coat. But more importantly it is baby pink not a bright/neon pink

sample colour is incorrect, its thick, applied 4-6 layers for better coverage
The colour you see in the picture is not the colour you get. And when I opened the container after shaking it, it's lumpy. It's consistent with a cottage cheese texture. Same with the other colours I ordered. I suggest buying the small 2oz sample bottles before buying the 16oz. Also, I had to water it down quite a lot so that I don't have lumps of glaze on my pottery. As for the application you can't dip, it can only be brushed. I did 4 to 6 layers for better coverage and to hide the paint brush streaks. I also waited for it to dry between coats. I can't return it because it's been longer than a month since I bought it. I might just use it up for ceramic jewellery pieces instead.

Wonderful colour and shine for a great price.
Excellent glaze, coverage is amazing and the colour and gloss is wonderful. A low temperature glaze that delivers as promised. I made poppies and a poppy dish and I am so pleased I ordered another colour in this brand.

Nice pink NOT red like it is supposed to be.
The color is definitely pink and not red... No matter how many or thick I make the layers. But otherwise it’s a nice pink.
