Fun addition to game, company stood behind product
Love this game. The added pieces and cards are a fun addition. When we recieved it, a couple pieces had been damaged. They sent new ones with no problem and we sent the damaged ones back. Soo appreciative of how they stood behind the product!

Great game
Great game, only giving 4 stars since two of the pieces were broken. Given the cost, they should package better

Disappointing, Broken Pieces
I bought both figure packs as a consolation to myself for not being able to find the Shadowed Paths expansion. Compared to the base game and what appears to be in the expansion, the content per cost ratio is extremely low for the figurine packs, as they both include only 3 figurines and 9 cards. Additionally, I received the Dwellers in Darkness pack with a broken Supplicant of Morgoth figurine, filed a return, and received another box with the same broken figurine. This is a disappointing addition to a much better base game.

Arrived broken
Opened the box and saw the arm completely detached in the plastic bag. Not sure how that happened but not happy about it. I could try gluing it but I doubt I could get it to truly stick after painting it

Dwellers in Darkness: Awesome Miniatures, but is everyone getting the same quality?
Full disclosure, I absolutely love these models! The quality of these models is better than anything I have seen thus far from Journeys Through Middle Earth! But why?Specifically, why are the edges sharper? the recesses deeper? How is it that I can see the scales on the Trolls back? Either it is because I am paying more dollars per model in the villain pack or it has to do with timing.I do not think it has to do with price per model as I have purchased the previous villain pack, Villains of Eriador and the details in those models do not come close to the models I received in Dwellers in Darkness. For example, the armor wearing Atarin and Ursa have noticeably different levels of detail of armor. Another example, the generic troll from Shadowed Paths and Ollie have noticeably different quality in the scales and the texture of their rags. See the pictures below. What I think might be at play here is the timing of my purchase. I pre-ordered Dwellers in Darkness early in the summer and literally received these in the mail tonight from UPS. In the past, I have ordered my boxes and packs well after release dates, but their quality sorely lacks compared to the preorder models, with the Heroes maybe being the exception.I wonder if the best model prints are found in the first few batches at release. I honestly cannot say with any degree of certainty but look at the pictures below and decide for yourself. Below are all three new Villains and the comparison shots. If the difference in quality is due to price points, then I think I would like to pay more to receive better quality miniatures in every set and pack. If the issue is timing, then I think that is a little unfair to everyone that orders well after the preorder phase and quality assurance needs to become a priority. In any case, I remain a loyal LOTR fanboy so you are getting my money either way, but please, sort this out.
