I thought instead of write what others are saying I could debunk many of the 1, 2, 3 star reviews.It doesn't stay cold - I am not sure what these people are using to freeze the pack but mine is staying cold for "extended" periods. In most applications you ice for 15 minutes I can wrap one ankle for 15-20 min and then unwrap and its still cold enough to wrap the other ankle for 15-20. I suspect maybe some people have their freezer set to non freezing temperatures.It doesn't fit - this comment is not meant to offend larger sized people but I am 6 foot with thick legs, everything I wear is extra large and the Velcro straps wrap around my calf twice and some of the icepack even overlaps around my ankle. If you are "that" large you probably need a custom kit not one size fits all, that is not fair to the manufacturer.It is not comfortable - I bought this design for a reason, it has a soft material on the that is not only comfortable but it doesn't interfere with cold application. I don't have to ware a sock and it works perfect. Again I am not sure what people are talking about.Really glad for my purchase and its brought instant relief

I had a trimalleolar ankle fracture with a dislocation and significant swelling that I needed surgery for. Icing was essential to my recovery and this ankle ice wrap is by far the best out there. Very sturdy, comfortable, and well designed. The ice hits all key spots - bottom of my foot and all around the ankle. Very easy to put on and the Velcro straps are strong, easily adjusted, and hold everything in place. Fits almost like a boot with flexibility so it can accommodate all foot sizes and degree of ankle swelling. The gel packs inside are pliable and comfortable, contouring where they need to. I've never needed to go to the deeper cold option by wearing it inside out - the standard way with the softer part facing in was sufficient for me but I do like that you have options of standard and deeper cooling - I think that design feature is clever. I only have one complaint but it didn't lead me to lower my rating - I had ordered the 2-pack so I could tag team the pair but I was only sent one - Amazon kindly reimbursed me for the error and I ultimately did order an extra one. I also find this product to be reasonably priced given the quality of it - price is in line with any brace or higher-end ice pack and it's way better than a bag of frozen peas! Would strongly recommend this product!

This feels better than the 3K contraption they afix to my foot during physical therapy. I use this product and ice twice a day for 15-20 minutes and it's perfect. Covers the entire foot, ankle, and lower leg areas. Broke my ankle in three places, compound fracture. This is magical for my recovery. Thanks to those who engineered this product for an affordable price. Stays cold the entire time. You don't want to ice more than 20 minutes at a time. Only takes a few hours to get cold in freezer. Comes with a plastic bag to keep inside to protect food and the product. Those who leave negative reviews I don't understand why. Can't please everyone I suppose.

Maybe it's just me but this stays completely solid after pulling out of the freezer in the plastic bag it came for at least 15 minutes before it's even flexible enough to put on my ankle and then it's still too cold for another 5-10 minutes. I am not looking to freeze my ankle...just a nice cold compress. Once it "thaws" awhile it is awesome! Just keep in mind to get it out of the freezer at least 15-20 minutes before using

Happy with this purchase. My 130 Great Dane got the zoomies and headed full throttle at me. Broke my right ankle which required surgery. This foot/ankle ice pack works well. One side is soft velour material; the other side slick material but not plastic. It freezes well but is still flexible. It has 3 Velcro straps, 1 around the foot, 1 around the ankle and the other slightly above the ankle. I use the velour side to wrap my ankle but also wear a sock and use a towel on my leg so I won’t get freezer burn. The slick side, when this is frozen, is unbearable for me even when wearing the sock and a towel. I can use the slick side if I put this in the refrigerator. It brings the swelling down and helps with the pain. It’s very easy for me to put on by myself without needing help. For size reference I wear a women’s 9 size shoe. It’s $22.99. Well worth it!

Who would have thought a trip to Seattle with my youngest/21 year old granddaughter would end up in Urgent Care, a broken foot, huge ungainly boot, crutches, and a wheelchair ride compliments of United Airlines at Sea-Tac and Bush International?!?!? A guided hiking tour in the mountains aren't what this Gram should have done! Ok, my review: this booted ice pack has saved me (along with the meds). I ordered 2 so one could freeze while the other could be used. They're super easy to use (similar set up to my boot). Also, they stay cold for a very long time. And they're much cuter than the old fashioned rectangular ice packs that I had to use a roll of gauze to hold them in place. Thank you Amazon for carrying this product!

Needed something like this for a foot injury. Saw this on Amazon, read the reviews, ordered it - and received it the same day! Perfect timing - 'cause I DID need this asap... This is well designed - stays cold a good while - and (most important) helped me get over a swollen foot, reducing both the swelling & pain. RECOMMEND.

First, it’s heavy but fits the leg good. So might need another hand to get it fit to foot. Bad thing is it leaks water fromThe condensation and you see water drops on the floor or carpet. You need to take care of putting something under the foot.
