Very happy. It just works!
I ordered this welder and a 125CF tank of argon/co2 mix from primeweld (a fully filled tank also purchased on amazon and shipped to my door via FedEx). Huge upgrade from an older harbor freight flux core mig. Grab a spool of .030 or .035 solid mig wire and you are all set. Extremely beginner friendly. My favorite feature is the fan actually shuts off when it's not needed. Peace and quiet. Separately, I am less interested in the tig or stick welder attachments, but it includes them. This would not be a good first tig welder, it's more like a dog walking on its hind legs if you use it for that. It's a wonderful mig machine with a spool feeder that actually feeds smoothly and the electrode that actually shuts off when you release the trigger (the Hazard Freight version remains live at all times, and reminds you of that with a bright blinding pop if it mistakenly touches undercarriage etc). It is very easy to switch the electrode polarity if using flux core mig wire. The instructions are very good. Read them. The other killer feature is 120v or 240v option. It includes the adapter cord. So it you are doing anything quarter inch or thinner, drag out an extension cord and you can weld wherever you want. This is less of a stand out feature and more of a general expectation anymore it seems, but 120v was a must have for me, or especially if you rent. Just buy it, wait the extra 2 or 3 days and skip the big box store version. This thing is all you need for around the house/farm/shop, or even back of the van (it's fairly compact and has a good stout handle). The one thing i could nitpick is the integrated gas/mig connection. Maybe they are all designed like this, but I would greatly prefer if it was a much smaller connector that stuck out less, or if the gas hose connection was a separate connector. I don't want to risk tearing up the o rings to disconnect it when not in use. It would store a little neater without it sticking out.

Worked great till it popped and smoked, Weldpro sent a replacement that I have yet to use.
Update: Weldpro sent a replacement unit, I broke my hand in multiple places about a week before The replacement was delivered so I haven’t even opened it yet. Their Customer service definitely deserves a 5 star rating, but, you cannot go through Amazon directly to get to customer service. Contact them via their webpage if you have issues. I get my cast off in mid July which is when I intend to unpack my replacement welder. Original: Bought this welder about a month ago due to the great reviews that it had. It popped and smoked during my 4th or 5th time using it. I turned it on and while I was getting my work situated there was a loud electrical pop, I didn’t know it came from the welder for a few seconds until it started smoking. Waiting to see what weldpro is going to do, I really like the welder except for some minor cosmetic issues. If they will replace it the. I will be back to change my review if i receive a good working machine. Update: 6 months after receiving my replacement, it works great. The cosmetic issues I had on my last one are not present in this one. Weldpro took care of the issue and I am very pleased. They use an outside contractor for there support and the guy I dealt with was very friendly and well versed in welding. 3yrs later: October 2025, I’m just a hobby and small home project welder so I’ve used just about 1-1/2 2# spools. The welder is holding up well. I only use it for mig welding mild steel and I weld stainless with stick. I don’t feel like having to keep a separate bottle on hand for tig.

Like shooting caulk
This does well on 120v but on 220v it's very good. Wire feed. We use it with Lincoln .035 solid wire and C25 gas which is 75% argon and 25% CO2. It never trips it's own breaker. It will trip a 20 amp 120v breaker regularly if you push it. Something's that it could be improved. There's no post flow gas control. The leads are a little short. The plastic is weak. The rubber feet break off easily if slid and catch on something. The side door latch is cheaply made. The drive roller could have more bite on the wire. It welds whatever you want with it's settings that are built in though sometimes you will need to tweak those a bit to do exactly what you want. Tig. Torch is ok but the vinyl hose is cheap. It doesn't have a peddle option or flow through valve, all that is manually done by the operator. Lift to start works pretty good. It doesn't have up slope, pulse or any of those features. Arc welding. The stinger lead is kind of cheap and it's short as well. It does the lift to start in arc mode which makes it easier for novice users. I bought the spool gun too but haven't used it. So not much to say about that. Overall. It does what it was intended for and it does pretty good, it's not high end machine.

Easy to set up and start welding!
I haven't done a whole lot with this machine yet, but so far, I was very impressed with everything. I have never welded anything in my entire life, but always had the desire to learn. I'm watching a lot of YouTube videos, and that, along with the instruction manual, was enough for me to get this unit fired up at 110 V to put a couple welds down on some scrap steel. The machine was easy enough to set up and there weren't any surprises, except for how easy it was to use. The owner's manual was extremely helpful with giving some tips and tricks, useful for a beginner for me to know. The build quality of this welder seems to be very good. I'm looking forward to learning how to MIG and TIG weld with this versatile welder. I don't feel like I will regret this purchase.

Best machine on the market 100% satisfied
So simple... The LCD setup is nice for newbies. Guides you through the proper settings for your project. The machine is so quiet and only runs when your welding. Love the quick connect fittings.. This is the best quality machine on the market if you ask me.. I’ve only used it for tig welding stainless exhaust so far, but the 110 is more than enough power... Very happy with my purchase.
