Perfect Solution for Mouth-Taping
After reading about the benefits of nasal-breathing over mouth-breathing, I turned to Amazon in search of a mouth taping solution for sleeping. While I found several options specifically for this purpose, they all seemed over-priced. I then found several reviews for this silicone tape where people mentioned it worked well for mouth taping for sleeping. I ordered the tape and must say, I love it! The tape is segmented in about 1/2 inch pieces so you exactly take as much or as little as you need and you don't need scissors to cut it. The tape also adheres well, but it is not too strong, so it is very easy to remove, leaves no residue and causes no skin irritation. The tape also keeps its adhesiveness even once removed, so you can get up in the middle of the night, have drink of water, and then put the tape back on. Anyone also looking for medical tape that adheres well, but does not irritate or damage sensitive skin should check it out. Also with three rolls per box this is a great deal for the price. I ordered my first box about 31/2 months ago and just came back to order my second, as I have just started the third roll. So you will likely only need to order no more than three boxes a year for mouth-taping. If you are considering mouth-taping for sleeping, I highly recommend this tape.

Great product for sleeping
I bought this tape because I tend to snore and I wanted to try out mouth taping. There are other products out there made specifically for this purpose, but they're pricy and that's not feasible for most people in terms of using something on a nightly basis.Someone recommended the use of medical tape, and this was one of the top products I found. For its purpose, it is excellent. It's a soft, stretchy tape that's perforated into rectangle strips for easy cutting. I use about 4-5 "rectangles" for my mouth and the adhesion is very good (even if my lips are slightly wet after brushing my teeth). The adhesion lasts through the night and removing it in the morning is pain free. It even maintains its tackiness, so I've reused the same strip the next night occasionally. It really is a quality product. As for my snoring, I think it's done a good job in helping me keep my mouth closed as I sleep. I've had deeper, better sleep and have woken up feeling more rested. I still need to do the math to see if there are cheaper options in the long run, but I'm confident that this is one of the cheapest if not THE cheapest option for those looking into this.

Game changer! Perfect for fragile skin!
Great product. Purchased to use on my father who was bedridde. He developed a bedsore that I was sterilizing about 2x a day. His skin had become very fragile to the point where the paper tape provided by his medical team was a bit of a challenge to get off without leaving a tape mark or even tearing it once. I watched videos on how to remove the tape using removal techniques and materials such as lotion or water. I ended up purchasing water block tape which was much easier to get off but not as adhesive. This blue silicone tape was a game changer. Not only did it stick on adequately and come off VERY easily but also did not require me to use scissors (which I had to use for the water block tape).

Not the best for ultra sensitive allergy-prone skin
This was well priced for silicone tape, but it gave me some skin redness. I've used another silicone tape without any irritation or redness.I like how this medvance tape stretches and conforms to the skin, but It can wrinkle up a bit. It is not reusable like some other silicone tapes, but if placed correctly and left alone it can stay on a long time, and will endure showers, etc. It does have perforations for easy tearing, but it also holds together and can be used in long strips.I like that it's clear but the blue color is visible against my skin, and I felt it was pretty obvious to see when on my face.I won't be using this as a scar tape because I think it creates a low level inflammation in my very sensitive allergy prone skin. That minor irritation can hinder the healing of scars or make a scar worse, so I'll stick to something that is more compatible with my skin.I will use this for more short term uses from now on, and won't repurchase. I's better than some but not great for me. I might try using it on my heels to prevent blisters.Update: I've been using this on top of medication patches to help keep them in place. This is working for me, and preventing the patch adhesive from collecting lint, and keeps the water out in the shower. My skin still gets a little red after wearing for a week, so I won't repurchase, but wanted to share that this is helping with my medication transdermal patches.

Blister Protection that Works
Best blister tape I've ever used! Thin. Almost like your own skin to minimize additional 'rub', yet protects.

Great for sensitive skin and covering scars, but has weak adhesive so not secure
I have very sensitive skin and am allergic to adhesive. Consequently, most medical tapes give me a rash, even the hypoallergenic ones. So, I decided to give this a try. On the plus side, it is very gentle and does not irritate my skin. It is very easy to apply, remove or reposition. It doesn’t damage my skin when I take it off. It is relatively easy to tear. It has a pleasant gel-like texture that feels nice against my skin, and it is very breathable. It is perfect for covering scars or very minor wounds that are almost fully healed. However, it does not have a very strong adhesive, so it doesn’t securely hold down bandages or dressings. I also found that it frequently was moved out of place by rubb8ng against clothing or bedding, such as while sleeping or exercising. So, it’s not good for major wounds or for people who are very active.
