Works great and puts out heat
Going on our second winter now. Had to put in a stainless steel chimney insert first. That turned out to be a project. That install was much harder than I expected. The fireplace insert is a beast. It came well packaged and it is heavy. Luckily we talked the delivery men into bringing it up to our back patio where we were planning on bringing it into the house. It would have been a huge struggle for my wife and I to do it. We unpacked it and everything was intact with no damage. We couldn't carry it into the house so we stripped it down and rolled it into the house on some short PVC pipes I had. That worked fine and didn't tear up my new wood floors. We got it into place and hooked everything up. Our fireplace isn't very big so there wasn't much room to get the stainless steel insert hooked on and the insulation around the old flue area. Once we got everything hooked up and into the right place we installed the door and the bricks. We broke it in with some small fires as the directions requested. We have been using it all last winter and some already this winter and we love it. We use it almost every nite when it's cold. It puts out a decent amount of heat for it's size and heats our living room up so it's nice and warm. The furnace rarely runs when we have a fire going. It does get some heat to our upstairs too but not that much in the rest of the house. Our living room is about 15 X 20 so it's decent sized. We would get better heating if we installed a small fan to blow the heat away from the fireplace area. We have been happy for now. The fan on the insert itself does a decent job blowing heat out but our fireplace is on the end of our livingroom so it tends to stay the warmest there. The fan does make some noise (we always have it on the highest setting when burning wood). You can dial it down lower to where you can hardly hear it but we don't mind the fan noise, it's not super loud or obnoxious. If the TV is on you really can't hear the fan much anyway. My wife loves starting up a fire and it's great that you can watch it burn through the insert window. So it's the best of both worlds. It starts up pretty easy and haven't had any real issues with it smoking up the house. We use paper, pine cones, and smaller wood to get it started and it's easy going after that. It's great to have a usable fireplace (ours really wasn't before this) that looks great and puts out quite a bit of heat for it's size. We are very happy with it so far.

Cut my LP bill almost in half
We love our wood burning stove. There's something comforting about a fire burning in the fireplace. It keeps the family room and kitchen end of the house plenty warm, and we use a fan to circulate the heat to the rest of the house. If I had any complaints it would be the fact their email response team is a little lacking. I'm still waiting for a response about a part that wasn't included with the product.

Issues after only 3 uses
At first, this appeared an amazing deal as it was on sale for a reduced price. We had it delivered and installed without issue. It is quite small but its dimensions are clearly listed so no problem there. Just note that this is only going to fit smaller logs so plan/chop accordingly. What is the most concerning is that after 3 uses the flu adjustment was clearly not working. This made it very difficult to start a fire due to lack of airflow. This also brought to light issues in the seams of the insert where smoke seeps out into the room during burning. It looked like a great deal but we now have to see about repair or replacement. I'm still looking for a link to contact the Ashely Hearth Store. I'd recommend looking for another seller/model as this one doesn't quite stack up to expectations.

Very nice stove.
Been using the stove now for over a year and I can say I am impressed with it. Sure it is a bit small but it does give you the dimensions. I cut my firewood at 16” and it fits in there just fine. Comfortably I can fit 4 pieces in at a time. The door hinge does come loose for some reason but you just need to squeeze it back tight. The blower is great although I wish a little more powerful but it definitely gets the job done. My wife didn’t want me to buy one, but she loves it and burns it herself all the time.

Economical stove
I was apprehensive at first and did extensive research on this model before buying it. There are YouTube videos to help with installation. All the reviews say this isn’t a commercial $7k insert which is true. In my opinion it does everything I need for the value. During installation the blower screws snapped off and the damper sign fell off. Called customer service who admitted this has been a problem. If you’re handy at all, you can handle this installation.Operationally it’s very simple and does put out a tremendous amount of heat. There is a slight hum of the blower but nothing more than a normal fan sound. If you’re on the fence I recommend buying the insert.

Best value wood-burning stove, but not perfect.
Works well (do YouTube searches for videos on how to use a wood-burning stove), good construction, but the drop-in bolts that keep the front door attached keep lifting out and you have to push them back in regularly or they will wiggle themselves out eventually.Buy welder's gloves and use them when you are interacting with your stove (and pushing those damn bolts back down).

A great entry level stove Insert.
This is great stove insert that is going on second year of use. Its a fire box so you need to have a certain Height chimney ,16 ' min. or it won't have enough draft . The door does fall off but that's the price for less weight installing and being able to replace the heat gasket on door in 5 years.
