NOW Essential Oils, Woodland Walk Oil Blend, Calming Attributes with a Fresh and Woodsy Scent, Steam Distilled, 1-Ounce

One of my favorite oils. Love Now essential oils. They are good quality, bigger sizes, and not expensive. Smells like you’re walking in a forest!

I am writing this as I approach a year of alternating full quarantine and lockdowns. I would love to go out on more hikes, out into the mountains, but with a smallish child combined with bathroom situations...well...I am stuck here for now. I wanted to Forest Bathe. I wanted to go out! Enter Woodland Walk Nature Blend by NOW essential oils. This blend of pine, ceder, juniper, frankincense, and myrrh is just want I needed. I actually bought other blends, even a couple perfumes, that were supposed to mimic being outdoors in the woods, and they did not compare. Not even close. The coniferous oils are balanced with the frankincense, and grounded by the resinous myrrh. Frankincense has a habit of becoming sharp and overpowering, but in this blend it is not. The Myrrh has brings out almost a sappy dirt smell, which reminds me of when you are treading softly along a trail and releasing the smell of soil. One thing I have to give much credit to with NOW, is that they didn't add patchouli to bring this effect. I do like patchouli, but it seems to be added to every other blend as a cheap grounding filler. It is non-existent in this blend. My allergy sensitive household members are able to tolerate this smell, and it did not trigger any migraines in myself. Now a real life walk in the woods has many layers, and the atmospheric changes that sunshine brings in, can never ever be bottled. But if you are looking for something that can bring you as close as you possibly can without leaving, and if you need to bring your Woodland Walk to you, then this is the one. I know that Amazon will have different sellers for one product. Mine was WooHoo Natural, and my product was shipped with minimal packaging, but enough to prevent leaks or breakage. It was supposed to arrive by 2/4, and arrived by 1/23. If I were down to a choice between sellers, I would buy from them again based on my experience (I do not know them or are affiliated with them at all, I was just so pleased I figured I would give them a shout out.) My sent review is based on being diffused with a sonic water diffuser. The scent is better diffused than sniffed straight from the bottle, so please do not smell from the bottle, and then think that the sent is weak. The smell was stronger and more balanced diffused.

The scent is much lighter than I expected but that allows me to add orange or cinnamon to it depending on my mood which is nice.

This essential oil has a pleasant earthy smell, but wasn’t quite what I was going for. I wanted a stronger balsam fir smell, like a Christmas tree and even those this smells like the woods, that particular smell is missing in my opinion. I’ll still use it though.

This is the Best aromatic perfect in it’s own right.We really like it.

I'm happy with the scent but it's weak in my diffuser, which other oils perform great in.

I love Now products and I love this scent. It’s my daily perfume.
