Wired Headphones for Kids – Pink

I gave this to my 8 year old son for Christmas expecting it to last maybe a week. Let's not say my son is clumsy, but things fall, get sat on, dropped, rolled over on a LOT when he's around. One day we couldn't find the headphones. After looking everywhere we finally found them under my son's 65 pound service dog's rump. They are still trucking on! My son loves the color and the way they fit. They seem to have a really wide range of adjustability and the tension is just right. They're not so tight that they're uncomfortable, and they're plenty snug enough that they stay on with all his wiggling and rolling. I tried them on and they fit just on my big head, as well, although the ear pads are appropriately child sized. The volume adjuster on the wires is a huge bonus. The wires themselves are thick and sturdy and reinforced in all the right places. Not that I'm really worried about sound quality- my son's not a sound engineer and it's not the great classics he's listening to, but I did listen to them for the sake of the review and was really surprised at how good his Youtube videos sounded.These are his first pair of headphones and I don't know how we ever lived before having them. I love that I don't have to constantly ask him to turn down his videos anymore. I am so pleased with the quality that I'm buying a back up pair in case these ever get lost, or smashed.

I bought these headphones for my nephew's birthday. I literally spent hours finding the right headphones for him because my sister complained that every pair of headphones she's bought him are so quiet that they are useless during car rides. My nephew can't hear his movies on long car rides over the regular car noises, and I saw first hand last summer when we went to the river and spent 4 hours in the car. My nephew would get irritated any time anyone in the car so much as whispered because he couldn't hear Elsa over our voices. Every pair of kids' headphones I found on Amazon it seemed had a volume limiter built-in. While the limiter is useful when he'd in his room on his tablet without any other noise, it's not practical for a situation where headphones are actually needed (car rides or in noisy public places). So after much research, I decided on Kidz Gear Wired Headphones for kids. And I'm glad I did.Why I bought them: the volume limiter is an OPTIONAL adapter.Why 5 stars: the sound is great, the limiter is optional, the size can be adjusted to various degrees (they fit my 4-year-old nephew perfectly as well as my sister's head when adjusted), they are comfortable, and they are sturdy enough to withstand children. Or at least, they seem like it so far. Also, 5 stars because his cousin, seeing him wearing these headphones, pointed at them and said, "I'm asking for those for Christmas." Maybe they aren't Frozen or Spiderman themed, but they apparently have appeal for kids, anyway.

I bought this when my kiddo was 3yo. Kiddo is now 7yo, and these have been awesome - and I'm about to buy a second pair to keep in the other parent's car.Kiddo has sensory processing issues, and uses these to put on when the environment is too much - listening to their own music or some kind of calming noise through a white noise app is a huge help.They also sometimes need some music, a video, or a game for stimulation, and the headphones keep the noise from bothering others in the room/car.They also love to be able to make video calls to family members with the headphones on - even though these don't have a microphone, the calls work just fine.Kiddo definitely appreciates the comfort of the ear cups. It's not too hot, the material is soft and smooth, and there's plenty of "give" to both the cups and the band, so they fit gently - no squeezing, pressure or pinching.We have had no problems with the jack fitting into all manner of devices and cases.The sound quality is really good - especially considering they're made for kids, and the price is so low. As far as "noise cancelling" - they definitely don't fit that definition. However, they do soften ambient noise, and with white noise playing at a comfortable volume, they're fairly effective for reducing noise. We only really used the volume control in the very beginning - kiddo caught on to controlling volume without it fairly quickly.They fit well at age 3, and still fit great at age 7 - I can even put them on to listen to whatever kiddo is showing me. Though I admit, I have a small head for an adult - not sure if I'd risk trying to fit them onto an adult with a large head.That being said, they are durable and have held up really well over 4 years of plane rides, car trips, and being shoved into a backpack.

As someone who travels with kids several times a year, I was looking for headphones for my young daughter for flights and car rides so that she could actually hear what she was watching on the ipad or airplane tv. After doing a bit of searching, I came across these ones. And we love them! They adjust very well to the size of her head, the ear piece is soft foam and fits right over her ears and blocks out a lot of the surrounding noise. And they have a volume control switch on the headphones so you can control how loud they will go - so even if she cranks up the volume on the ipad, the sound will only go so high through the actual headphones. Great product.

Wir haben den Kopfhörer für unsere 3,5 Jahre alte Tochter gekauft für den Flug nach Bangkok. Er war perfekt, sie konnte damit das Board-TV ebenso ungestört sehen wie am Tablet angeschlossen. Die Lautstärke war absolut ausreichend auch bei lauten Fluggeräuschen - als sie schlief hab, ich ihn mir dann von ihr ausgeborgt (geht problemlos zu verstellen auch für "große Köpfe"), weil man damit wesentlich besser den schlechten Ton der Filme im Flugzeug hört - bequem ist er oben drein und auch robust, waren rundum zufrieden damit! Das einzige, das nicht ging war, den Kopfhörer an so einem Verteiler anzustecken, also dass man den gleichen Film mit mehreren Kopfhörern gemeinsam sehen kann, da hörte sie nix damit wieso auch immer - ansonsten alles bestens!
