This is an excellent product for older or senior horses that are hard to keep weight on. My mare has been on this twice daily since March 2025, and in that time I have noticed a huge difference in her health. She has gained weight, her coat has improved enormously, and her hoof growth and stability are off the chart. Plus, she has plenty of energy for work, but is not in any way "hot" or hard to ride. I like the convenience of this product as well- it's easy to feed and it's very palatable, which makes it good for picky eaters. All in all, I give this product 5 stars. I will literally swear by this stuff for the rest of my life. I purchased a mare from the kill lot, she came very emaciated and sick. I have her on a 12.5% protein/8% fat grain with alfalfa hay, as well as a pro/prebiotic. She had been on that for a solid 4 weeks before adding this stuff- was gaining weight steadily. I started her on this about 2 weeks ago, she’s roughly 800-900 pounds, I do 1 scoop twice a day. She loves it, I have no problems getting her to eat it dry over her grain, she licks the bowl clean. She has put on weight much quicker and her coat is exceptional right now. Her mane and tail have also started growing faster. The photos I have attached are 5 weeks apart, she’s on this weight accelerator the tail end of that. I would recommend to every one, you get a ton of it for not a lot of money; very effective! Overall a great product.

Absolutely wonderful product. I’ve feed several aged and rescue horses with this and they love it, their coats shine and they put weight at a nice even pace. My vet years ago recommended it and with this purchase our new vet gave us the thumbs up! Vet approved, fantastic results.

The old guys love this weight accelerator. I top dress their grain with a scoop. They are steadily putting on some weight.

So I bought this for my 19 year old guy that had lymes and lost a TON of weight. I’m on my third bag and I’m seeing a difference, finally, in his body condition. This was not an overnight change or a one bag change but I do notice his ribs are finally covered. He’s still a bit hippy but that will come. I will say he LOVES the flavor and eats it no problem on his grain and he’s pretty picky. It smells like bubble gum. It’s a good value but you have to be consistent with it and it’s probably going to take more than one bag to start seeing a difference. Overall I’m going to keep him on it for a few months because I do see improvement.

This product is amazing. I own 2 donkeys that were thinner than usual this year, I fed them each 1 small cup/day (provided in package) for 1 month. They both look full and healthy today! BEST THEY HAVE EVER LOOKED!!

This product works very well for our 25 year old horse. It has helped him tremendously gain some weight back.

I recently adopted 3 senior horses. All under weight. I started them on the Senior Weight Accelerator in September it’s now November 19th. So far I have seen major improvements in all three horses weight. The white horse pictured was the most underweight of the three horses. He still has a long way to go but the progress so far is great. The horses were unsure about the powder being added to their grain at first but with a day or two they took to it just fine. Now they lick their buckets until every little bit of the weight accelerator is gone leaving no trace in the buckets lol. I’ve been doing 2 scoops in the morning and 2 in the evening planning on moving up to the max amount daily of 10 oz soon. If you’re debating on getting this for your senior or underweight horse….don’t! Just follow the directions and start off slowly. I introduced it very slowly starting with one scoop a day per horse. Work your way up and give your horse time to adjust to something new. I’m loving the results so far. If there’s one thing I wasn’t happy about I did recently receive a bag with a hole in it, which waisted a lot of product. I have ordered probably 20 or so bags so far and that’s the first bag I’ve received with a hole in it. Still hoping they do a subscribe and save option that would be nice!7 months in update…What an amazing difference! All three horses horses look completely healthy now. Weight is right where it needs to be and also a huge improvement in hooves and mane. Definitely recommend this weight gain!
