This KVM HDMI Extender is the best based on price and utilities, Im using this as CCTV monitor extender from DVR to ANY monitor or TV. Easy to install and has a great speed image quality. The connection save you money because don’t need to run a HDMI cable due they head are easy to be broken. I ussuallly use different one but I started using this one 5 month ago and i not changed while it doing stable job…. Recomended!

I was a little apprehensive about this thing given the price compared to others I've used with client environments, but it's been working well. Nice thing is it supports wireless keyboard and mouse which was a pleasant surprise since some people said it wouldn't. Zero noticeable lag in keyboard or mouse. I also like that the power is at the transmitter side rather than the receiver as some other's are powered. Overall a good buy.

The construction of this item is very solid. All metal case. It come with all nescessary parts to work as KVM Extender.I definitely recommend this to others if you need an extended KVM thru USB port

So far this device is working great.. It's been about 6 months. I've tried using different HDMI cables of different quality, Cat6 cabling, Cat6 shielded, Cat6 Riser, Plenum... I have tried everything but artifacts don't go away. It has to be a power issue. I am using this for CCTV monitor extensions. Out of DVR to device input is 3' high quality HDMI cable. Out of the passthrough HDMI I have a 10' High quality HDMI cable for the head end. Cat6 50' connected to the remote side. High quality 3' HDMI cable to monitor. Artifacts.. It worked perfectly for 3-4 months.. then it started showing degradation.. Nothing has changed, nobody messes with the wiring. I removed it and staged it on a lesser scale, meaning, just used a 25' cable and laid everything on a table with different monitors to troubleshoot, and still has artifacts. I ordered 3 or 4 of these I think.. when I change out the device, artifacts go away. So, its either the integrity of the device or the power supply is crap.. I have ordered so many of these types of devices from other suppliers for 3 to 4 times as much $$$ and the same thing ALWAYS fails... the power supply. It appears it's the same thing with this device. Will try getting a replacement. It's hard to beat the price on this for what it does. An HDMI passthrough along with USBx2 and HDMI for $70??? That's dirt cheap. But it would be nice if it lasted longer than 6 months.

Installation is easy, and unlike the last KVM extender I replaced there was only 1 power supply used on the transmitter unit. The last extender used power supplies on both transmitter and receiver

For HDMI, this is great. Plug them in and they work. I, however, am trying to use them for a 17” monitor with USB touchscreen built in, and they do not work right for the USB connection. With the touchscreen plugged directly into the PC it works great. My cat6 cable run is approximately 60’ long. When I plug this extender kit into the pc, windows detects the touchscreen. As soon as you touch the touchscreen, windows shows it instantly disconnected. As soon as you take your finger off the screen, windows sees it again. So you can’t actually use the touchscreen.I ordered a replacement of this hdmi/usb extender kit from Amazon and got the exact same results when I plugged them in.I then ordered another brand, plugged that brand in, and they worked instantly and flawlessly. So the bottom line is that the product in this listing does not work for USB, at least in my case. Sending them back!

Great product. Works flawlessly and compact and easy to hide behind a tv or monitor. Definitely recommend this product. Quick shipping as well. Setup was plug and play.
