Busylight UC Omega (15410) - Presence Light and Ringer - Busy Light for The Office - Free Busylight Software for Most UC Platforms and Softphones

These are fantastic. I had some minor difficulty getting it set up - you have to install multiple pieces of software in a particular order and they all run at all times. You can adjust the light manually via one program, but I recommend never touching the manual setting as it will override all of the automatic stuff. The less you mess with it, the better it works. I kind of wish they would simplify it down to a single package.Also, it turns red anytime any software accesses the camera or microphone. I use things like OBS and video editors like Davinci Resolve and these packages turn the light red even when I am not recording.These have sounds that are enabled by default and can be quite loud. For example if a scheduled meeting is starting, they can ring loudly.We went for 5 years doign remote work without a light, but I got fed up with interruptions and bought several of these fo rthe household members who do remote work and it has made a dramatic difference in how we operate. No one needs to shout or signal that we're ina call anymore. We have one mounted outside a bedroom door (these have sticky foam included for this purpose) so no more knocking on doors during calls or peeking in.one of those things we never knew how badly we needed it until after we had it

I use MS Teams all day, with numerous meetings. I needed this to indicate when I am busy or not so my family knows whether I am able to talk or not. This works perfectly for that purpose. It's not very large, about the size of a US half-dollar around. The cord is about 4 feet long with a USB-A plug.

Worked great up until the office updated to the new windows. Now the driver is incompatible and the unit is completely useless. Can you update your drivers??

The software is able to detect when I'm on a call. Goes red when I'm on a call, green again when I hand up. Let's my wife know when I am on a call so she doesn't bust in to the home office.

This light is great, when it's working properly. Unfortunately, around 35% of the time the light does not change colors properly. It is supposed to connect to me Outlook, Teams, or Zoom, and some times it does flawlessly, but the other times it doesn't, and won't even let me change the color manually using the software.

I have been working from home for over a year now and being in a townhouse - don’t have an extra room for an office. This works perfectly for letting my family know when I am on a call or can not be disturbed. The added bonus was it was super easy to set up; less than 8 minutes!

I followed the instructions to install the Teams version of the software. It works for the initial Teams status. However, once it changes it does not update but, stays red. If I want to update, I have to restart the computer, restarting the software and/or Teams software does not solve this issue. I would return however, The window lapsed before I remembered. At this time I do not recommend this light. If the software changes, I will try again and update this review accordingly.Windows 10Microsoft Teams version 24102.2223.2870.9480.

I work from home at least 3 business days per week. My office is the converted dining room - so informing my family when I am on a video call can help prevent embarrassing moments. It also lets my family know when I am "trapped" in a meeting, can't get a drink, or have other needs. For these purposes, this product has worked excellent.If you are tech-savvy, this device works well with macro-boards like the Stream Deck from Elgato or other things like IFTT. It has integrations to things like Microsoft Teams - but I have disabled that an prefer to use it through the "Website" controls on my Stream Deck.If you are also going to use the HTTP Get commands, one tip I can give you is to check the "GET request in background." This prevents your browser from opening everytime you press the key.
