This product is perfect to help fight against humidity. I don't have to worry about big hair due to rain or sweat. I use every 8 weeks. I wash with regular shampoo for wash days. It also makes straightening my hair faster and easier.

Beware of the seller. They’re selling packs of 8 for $20-$30. When you buy it they’ll only send you 1 box. I complained and they gave me a refund and said I could keep the product. I told them I want the other 7 boxes I purchased. They said they’re out of stock. I thought they’d made a mistake when I bought 8 boxes for $20, but just checked and they are selling 8 for $30 now! Besides that... Great product! I used to use it only once a year and had no problem reverting to my 4a curls. Then one year I used it twice in a roll, meaning I did the treatment again after wearing it straight for 3 weeks. Wore it straight again for 3 more weeks and then when I washed my hair it didn’t revert properly. Got lots of straight ends. Ended up cutting it. Now, I do this treatment 4 times per year and wear my hair straight all the time. The curls won’t revert. My hair is so healthy and beautiful. Use avocado oil to moisturize it.

I've been using this way before the pandemic. Came searching for it because my daughter wants to comb her locs out. I faithfully used this to maintain her hair. So much so, I bought the large bottles of shampoo and conditioner for in between maintenance. Anyone who says this did not work..did not follow the instructions. It's really a simple process and yeas you have to blow dry your hair after you put the product on. Do not let your hair air dry. This is great for managing your or your child's natural hair. Especially if they are tender headed. I'm glad to see it's still available but totally dismayed to see they are selling this for almost $18! This used to be $8!!! I'm going to check my beauty supply store to see if this is the going price now or if someone is taking advantage by unchanging the consumer.

Damaged and broke my hair off. Never again

This is the product to try if you are anxious to see how long your hair is after months and months of shrinking curls! LOL. I have not used flat irons all year and every time I do, the style has lasted one day because of humidity. I tried this product out after seeing a Youtube video. I will say that the end result was absolutely stunning. I had so much softness and body it was unreal. However, getting through the initial steps were more than an undertaking. The shampoo strips your hair to no moisture whatsoever, which is intended. The leave-in doesn't help at all with adding moisture back and I started to get worried. However I followed the instructions and attempted to blow my hair out after the 20 min. What's unclear is do you leave it in 20 min after you've done all the sections or do you time from the 1st section? It took me at least 20 min just to get it all throughout my hair, again your hair is stripped so trying to detangle is a monster (but doable). I didn't see any breakage or hair loss so I kept going. In fact, I would say less hair came out than usual. I also had not cut my ends in a few months so that didn't help my plight! If your ends aren't freshly cut, you might want to have that done first or blowing it out and flat ironing will be difficult because of the balls on the ends. Once you get through flat ironing (I used the chase method using the penman thermo straightening brush) my hair came out GORGEOUS!!!! SOOOO beautiful, I never knew I had natural hair so beautiful. This product beats getting a relaxer ANY DAY. It was well worth the effort and I learned some lessons along the way so the next time I apply it, it will be easier. I would recommend using your flat iron on the lowest heat setting that will straighten your hair. So that means, don't use 450 heat if your hair will get straight at 375. And, only use heat once!! Afterward, I rolled my hair using flexi-rods and my curls were stunning. You can still do twist outs and flex-rods sets once its dry but don't apply any moisturizers just oil. For a twist out just twist the hair and put a perm rod on the end, no need to add any product! This is not something I plan on consistently using back to back because I worry about causing heat damage. So my plan is to use it 2-3 times a year when I'm wanting to do length checks and show off my gorgeous long locks. I personally went for 3 weeks straight and went back to natural curls and had no damage whatsoever, in fact I feel like my hair improved. I just like my curls better than I do straight hair at this point. But I would definitely use it again for my next length check in a few months!! For the ones that say their hair did not revert, I would say it may be user error or their hair was not in great shape to begin with. There are no chemicals in this product, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't revert unless the temp on the flat iron was too high. That is the primarily risk with using this product is that you have use the flat iron and if your temp setting is too hot, you can damage your hair whether you use this product or not! Again, use lower heat setting starting out to be on the safe side (but not too low). Try it girls!!

It gets your hair straight but my hair doesn’t stay straight for more than a day or two. I love how straight it does get it but continuously having to touch up my hair every few days will cause damage bad breakage. The instructions are simple enough and there is no noticeable added moisture for me but also not necessarily dry either. Since it doesn’t stay straight for the advertised time I wouldn’t say the value is good for the cost but if the frizz wasn’t an issue and the straightening lasted at least 4-6 weeks as advertised it would be nice. The photos I’ve included are in the same day first one before I stepped outside and the second shortly after stepping out.

I’ve wanted to go straight for quite some time without having to relax my hair because it dries out my scalp. I purchased after reading all the reviews and let me tell you this product did not disappoint. I followed the instructions and my hair did not dry out after washing, it felt more manageable and soft. After applying the quarter sized leave in throughout my hair and waiting the 20 minutes I blow dried and big toothed combed my hair, now that dried out my hair but to my surprise I did not have much breakage. I used my TYMO hair comb flat iron to straighten my hair and it turned out beautifully. I will absolutely be purchasing more to keep my hair straight longer without having to use heat so often.
