AllerEase 100% Breathable Cotton Pillow Protector for Sleeping, Standard 26" x 20" - 2 Pack

I just put these on a pair of new pillows and they went on with no problems, they feel like Percale cotton sheets and are comfortable.I have not tried to wash them yet, as I just got them.There is no smell, and the little bit of crinkle is just from the label inside which can be cut out if it bothers you, but I left mine on since it had some instructions on it and info about the product.I have an allergy to dust mites and have serious sinus drainage as a result most of the day, so I'm hoping these will mitigate that problem. I will be putting my old pillows in the dryer to try to kill whatever dust mites may be in those (too many pillows to cover them all right now), as I might need them to prop up the other side of my bed to keep me from rolling off my wedge pillow, or use those for my legs.The pillow protectors are well-stitched and sturdy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants 100% cotton and also allergy protection!

Worked perfectly

If you are like me you will only buy cotton and probably the largest thread count all cotton sheets you can get your hands on. I roast like a furnace at night and only cotton can keep me cool. Because I’m super allergic to stuff I must have all my bedding hypoallergenic. I have always had zippered pillowcase liners over my hypoallergenic down alternative pillows and under my all cotton shams for as long as I can remember and this is the first all cotton hypoallergenic pillow liner I have owned. They are made better any other brand I have owned. Zipper is way better than I expected and it’s so thin and tucked in I don’t know it’s there. My head is so much cooler now! I can’t believe the difference between these and my normal poly blend who would have thought such a thin layer of fabric would make such a huge difference? I am cozy comfy and my pillows are all protected and I’m not sneezing and I could go on and on about these pillowcase pros! I waited to give them some time before writing this and get them through a couple washes and guess what? No shrinking no damages no issues with the zippers! I looooooovvvvve them! I’m so glad I didn’t just buy the others cuz they had a bunch of extra technology / bells and whistles advertised. I stuck to my guns bought all cotton and I will never go back. I highly recommend them. They are amazing and a great price. Thank you! Rest assured (pun intended) if you are a cotton person you will love them 😊👍❤️

I bought two sets of covers - one king and one standard - as we have both size pillows on our bed. Both sets of covers are soft and fit the pillows well.The strange thing is that the standard size covers make no noise, while the king size covers have a slight "crinkly" noise. I think this may be because my standard size pillows are dense memory foam and fit into the cover more snug, while the king size pillows are standard foam and fit more loosely into the cover.All in all, though, the covers do their job and help out my allergies greatly. I sleep on my right side, and used to wake up every morning with my right nostril completely plugged. Now I usually just have a slight stuffy nose.

Protects the pillow as it’s supposed to. Nice soft cotton, washed and dried in the dryer just fine. Zippers working well after a couple washes. And I originally didn’t think I needed two sets but have decided it’s actually very helpful to put on a fresh pair while the others are in the wash. Price reasonable too. All good!

Have ordered this brand many times and they hold up well to washing, drying. Infrequently a zipper runs off track but usually can be fixed.

Some reviews mention a 'plastic-y' feel. The fabric is a very good quality, heavier weight, tightly woven 100% cotton and it feels just like it should. It will soften after a few washings but not a lot. It's meant to have body and be sturdy because it's a barrier for teeny-tiny particles of allergens. And EXACTLY what I wanted. I wouldn't dream of sleeping on a pillow without one. Keeps your pillow clean and fresh, too. I wanted 100% cotton because I sleep better on cotton. Microfiber is way too warm for me with my fibromyalgia hot flashes and night sweats. These were a good price, too.

My wife and I have been using these for over three years, and I'm picking up another set from Amazon today. I thought I'd write a quick review to share what I've learned. These 100% cotton AllerEase pillow protectors are thicker than the other cotton brand I tried (Allersoft), and have been very durable. I haven't had issues with the zippers, and they even protect the pillow if someone (not mentioning any names) happens to drool in her sleep. I've done it too... the point is our expensive Pacific Coast down pillows are protected--at the same time we're protected from the allergens and dander in the pillow. It just works. FWIW, I also dry clean all the pillows about every 6 months (I take half the pillows one week, let them air out for a few days, and then do the other half). One other point, since I've seen some misleading reviews about loud crinkling sound--these are 100% cotton, and have a heavy, quality feel (like nice sheets). There is another option, also made by AllerEase, but for a slightly different purpose: Aller-Ease Waterproof, Dust Mite, Allergy Pillow Encasement, Set of 2, Standard Those "waterproof" pillow protectors are the ones that make a crinkly sound. They are similar to what hospitals use and that sound is caused by a polyethylene (plastic) lining, which in my opinion is good to protect a pillow at summer camp or when guests come to visit, but probably not what most adults are looking for. So, to recap, we love the Aller-Ease 100% cotton pillow covers and highly recommend them.
