Sturdy and markings are accurate
I needed a larger paper trimmer for 12 x 12 paper and cardstock. My current one was about 8 inches long. The ECraft Board offers the ability to trim larger sizes of paper as well as cardstock; plus scoring for both paper and cardstock. Very handy that it can be folded to store. The slides to lock in the open position are sturdy and holds it well - does not wobble when using. There are inch ruler markings at top and bottom in 1/16 increments. Centimeter markings are on one end just under the ruler markings. I found the ruler markings to be accurate when cutting and scoring. That I can cut and score with the same 'tool' is a plus for me. If I could add one feature to this product, I would add something that could be used as a stopper that would fit in the cut line; so that when I score, there would be something to have the paper rest against to keep it from going past the cut line.

Fantastic and better than the more expensive old board!
I love, love, love this trimming & scoring board! I'm almost glad my old board's (...Memory K...) replacement cutting blades became so expensive that I could buy another board for just a couple of dollars more. This board's scoring grooves are every 1/16" (my old board was every 1/8"), and the feet prevent the board from sliding around. Yep, this one is the real "keeper"!

Handy little cutting/scoring tool!
Pretty handy for small projects! I got this specifically for greeting cards and the cutter takes a little practice. If you try to cut cardstock from edge to edge, it catches on the corner a little bit. So you have to line the cutter down further then slice up and down to get a clean cut, if that makes any sense. I’m sure this doesn’t happen for plain printer paper but be wary when using cardstock.Otherwise, the paper scorer does a great job of scoring where the card folds! Will be using this handy tool for many greeting cards in the future. Love that it folds in half and doesn’t take up too much space.

A little practice to achieve great results
First, a little about me - I am a photographer that has used professional matting and framing equipment. I’m picky enough that I won’t print a lake or ocean shot if the horizon is off by as little as half a degree without correcting. I read all the reviews first and decided to try this out. I took on a project to produce 75 cards and was going to try to find a way to utilize my matting equipment, then realized I should look for something on Amazon first. The reviews about the marks not being 100% accurate made sense after trying a couple sheets of paper. I wasted sheets of cheap blank paper until I figured out which lines to use and adjustments I needed to make for my project. The flimsiness of regular paper makes it difficult to score a straight line, and the 80lb cover stock I used was about the lowest weight I would use on this scoring board. After wasting a few sheets of paper and feeling confident about my settings, I managed to score my 75 cards in less than an hour with no mistakes. I did notice that some of my cards were not perfectly lined up, but that may have been on account of the paper I was using. While setting the left edge prior to scoring, I noticed that there were variations of squareness.I was skeptical about buying a product which is essentially a plastic butter knife and a ribbed table, thinking the knife was going to jump track at some point. That never happened. In the end, I’m very happy with this purchase. If you need to compete with Hallmark, maybe you need to spend more than $20, but for most people, this should do the trick.***UPDATE***. It’s now four years later and I find myself using this little cutter on a regular basis. I only wish it was larger as I’m finding myself trimming batch photos from rolls of paper. I just have to trim the roll down to about letter size before final trimming here. This item has become such a time saver for me!

small grooves
the grooves are a little small making it hard to stay in straight line, but it is doable

Scoring board/cutter is real deal
I have a small score board but needed a larger one for my bigger projects, this fits the bill and having a slide cutter included is a bonus as I often cannot locate my small cutter in all my clutter. Storage is made convenient by the folding capability and when open it locks securely into place. I will definitely recommend this to others.
