Sun Brand Curry's devotion to their sublime curry recipe never wavers. Pure magic. Long story short: I loved the curry dishes prepared at a hole-in-the-wall Indian restaurant in my old college town. But finding a curry powder that could match the curry their chef created was elusive. I must have tried ten different brands but no luck. Then one day I came across a dented tin of this stuff at an funny little import shop and took a chance, not expecting much. And just WOW. Upon opening the tin, just the scent of this curry had me exclaiming Eureka. This was the curry powder I'd been seeking out for 7 years. Now I'm a fan forever and gotta say, this Sun Brand Curry is a bargain and worth every penny. Buying from Amazon saves me a 50 miles RT jouney too!

I have been using this for years and it has consistently been great. I use it not only in curry but a small amount in tuna and chicken salad for great flavor.

I love to cook with curry, but I can't find it locally. I like this—not spicy but flavorful. The only issue I have is with the tin. It is cheap. It was broken in transit, but I got it pretty much back in shape. But curry is messy, so I ended up buying an empty car and transferring the curry into it. I would repurchase it now that I have the jar.

The 4-4oz cans are convenient to use and kept fresher than, in a 16oz can. Our family prefer flavor over spiciness and this is the brand that we like most.
