I had to come back & edit in an update! It's been over two years & we still use this press daily, multiple times a day! The lid has held up perfectly. I'm so impressed by this French press. It's just as good as the day we bought it, I'm not even exaggerating. The stainless sheath keeps the coffee hot for up to an hour which is almost unheard of with a press. Definitely buy this if you need a good press!____________________________Gonna start off with a warning because I don't recall reading it anywhere in their description or the manual: the glass cylinder (beaker) can be fully removed from the stainless sheath! When you get down to the bottom of the pot, for the love of all that's holy, place your finger on the plunger while tipping this vessel of boiling hot liquid! Ok, with that out of the way: Very nice for the price. The pic is of it in use so don't judge her too harshly! We got this for Xmas cuz my partner accidentally smashed the $9 one we had for 4yrs! The mueller one is sleek & fancy looking. The stainless/plastic handle apparatus is neat! I like that it has 4 screens in it & comes with replacements. It's german made steel (sheath) so it's definitely quality. HOWEVER, the plunger & lid? Particularly the plunger? Feels very cheap. The plunger & lid feel almost like plastic though I know it's not. It's some sort of cheap poured white metal. So while it looks really cool, I'll be interested to see how those hold up over time because in this house we use the press daily. Also if fingerprints bother you, the stainless sheath might drive you mad. I give this press a 4 out of 5 overall based on appearance, performance & price.

This is the BEST French Press I have ever owned. Firstly, Mueller and their products are top notch and this French Press is no different. It is extremely well made and durable. I love the quality of this press and its filtration system. You will never get grounds in your coffee with this incredible filtration! This press is beautifully crafted with exceptional functionality all in one. I love that it is dishwasher safe as well. This press allows me to enjoy perfect coffee day after day with exceptional flavor, no grounds and fantastic ease of use. I have tried many presses but this one is the best I have found. Perfect, delicious, quick flavorful coffee everyday in no time at all.

Great French press makes coffee quick and tasty

I'm going to start with the fact that the first press I received was broken, and by the condition of the box inside and out, had obviously been returned. This is frustrating, and says something about the seller, but I'm not going to rate the press based on the sellers performance. The press itself seems pretty well made. The glass is a bit thinner than I expected, but so far we've used it three times and it does what it's supposed to without issue. It's easy enough to clean out after use and I can't really complain about any aspect of it at this point. I'd say its a nice little press and if needed I would buy again.

This is very easy to use, inexpensive, easy to clean and just as good as the pricey French Presses. Just add near boiling water to ground coffee and let it sit for a few minutes. Then press down slowly on the plunger. So easy and the triple filter won't let any grounds into your mug when you pour the coffee.I had a glass one before but the glass broke when it fell and hit the counter. With this model, they improved the design by adding a simple metal casing. You clean it easily by dumping the grounds and rinse out the glass. Why pay a lot more when this works perfectly well.

I recently purchased a French Press and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The design is sleek and modern, making it a stylish addition to my kitchen. I gave this as a gift to my room mate. She does have some dexterity issues with her hands, but she mastered this the 1st time. And she loves it and the coffee it makes. Claims it is very smooth. Before she used it the 1st time, she didn't like the idea of some of the prep work, like rinsing with hot water every time before making the coffee. And at 1st she wasn't thrilled with boiling the water. But after using it the 1st time, the only thing she has mentioned is how good the coffee is. I gave it 5 stars due to the ease of how she can use it and how good she says the end result is. She gets about 2 cups of coffee each time, but she uses a big cup, at least a 12 ouncer, if not bigger.

It's small. It's about the size of a venti sized tumbler or a standard mason jar. I've already almost dropped the carafe multiple times because it detaches from the metal holder/handle, especially slippery after you've rinsed the carafe and it's wet. Who thought that was a good idea... pairing glass with a slippery thin metal cover without anything to secure one to the other. About 3 times I tried pouring the coffee/tea into the mason jar only for the glass carafe to slip out and almost knock my cup out with it. Scary. Good thing the spout wasn't in a much more elevated position, or I could have had a lot of glass to clean up that day. Once this one breaks, which might happen sooner than later, I think I'll go with a more standard french press. The good thing about this though is that it comes with a double mesh, so there's much less sediment than with the single mesh presses, which makes for a cleaner less muddy tasting coffee. I would have rated it higher, but the design flaw is quite the buzz killer. The last thing you expect is a mini heart attack while you're relaxing and pouring a cup of tea or coffee into my cup.

Es muy buen producto, la única razón para no darle 5 estrellas es que esperaba que la calidad de la tapa fuera igual de buena que lo demás. El filtro y la pieza de cristal es muy bueno.
