Save your fingers!!
Good value for the money. Very easy to use, will save you from hurting your fingers when loading ammunition into various magazines.

Might be a short learning curve.
To start off, I'm 77 years old and these old hands don't work as good as they once did. This is my new favorite magazine loader! I have the "UpLULA" loader, and it is really good. I also have the "LUDEX" mag loader, and it is also a pretty good loader. I use the "SPEED BEEZ", an excellent loader, if they make one for your pistol magazine. This "Captain Jax" loading tool is my favorite of them all. This might not be for everyone, but for me it is like loading by hand using my thumbs, only with this tool helping out with the hard part. If you load magazines by hand, but want a tool to help the process, this is a good tool for that; plus, you can carry it with you in your pocket and you look like you know what you're doing when using it! I also sit down at a table/bench to load magazines no matter what other speed loader I'm using, except this "Captain Jax" loader. This one I can use standing up and don't need a table, that's a big advantage for me. Even though "The BEML" works really well, I thought it needed to have the pointed ends of the metal rods smoothed. I wrapped some 1,200 grit silicone carbide sandpaper around a pencil the same diameter as my pistol cartridge and stroked/polished the ends of the rods smother. That got rid of the friction of pushing the tool into and down on the last cartridge I had just loaded, making it easier to slide/insert the next cartridge. This review got longer than I had planned. Now go out there and have a great day people!

Different and works as described!
Neat ammo magazine loader and well thought out. As pictured. It takes a little getting used to it, but works as intended. Only 4 stars as I don't think it's any faster than the typical mag loaders available, but it is universal for most pistol calibers if you only have room for one or to keep in your pouch/field box.I had trouble keeping the bullets on it when the mag was getting full and the spring tension inside the mag increased, making it hard to align and push the next round in. If you have dry fingers like I do, this might not be for you. On the other hand, it is a brilliant idea if like the originator, you only have one hand or are handicapped in such a way you only have the use of one hand.It definitely has a place for those in need. That said, it's small, lite weight, universal, and works fine enough I'll keep it in my range bag for GP. A little pricey for what it is but a worthy investment. Particularly for those fellow shooters that find other types of mag loaders inconvenient or impossible to use. YMMV... Enjoy!

Disappointment!!!
This "reloader" is NOT a reloader at all. It's a tool to assist in loading magazines and it does work, somewhat, for that purpose. But many of us are seniors who have lost significant hand strength and need help depressing and holding the magazine spring. This tool does not do that. It simply provides a guide to help align and slide the bullet into the magazine. You still hand strength to depress the spring. It's almost fraudulent advertising to imply that it is a reloader.

Simple and easy to use.
I carry a Kahr 9mm pistol. If you own a Kahr you know the last round or two into the mag can be a bear. That was ok when I was younger, but I have a bit of arthritis in my thumbs now and that last round is painful to push in. I have other mag loaders. They work but are a bit more complicated and you need a flat surface to steady the mag while you use them. I have found the Captain Jax loader to be simpler and easier to use. It doesn't take up much room in my pocket, so can carry it onto the range when reloading mags between stages during qualifications. Less expensive than the alternatives too! I highly recommend it.

Great help for arthritic hands
Not a speed loader but definitely helps if you've arthritic or carpal tunnel hands. There is a small learning curve but it doesn't take a genius to figure it out and get used to using it. It works for me from 7.62 Tok to .45 Auto and everything in between. It seem to be of durable construction so it should last for years if it doesn't get lost down in the range bag.

Poor quality and did not work at all. Thumbs and hands are easier.
I might have gotten a bad one or quality slipped but I found the prongs bent after a few uses. Much easier to use my old worn out hands and wrist. A piece of junk or at least the one I got. Luckily I can send it back to amazon.

A buy for ease of use and carries handily in a pocket.
They always work great and fit in a shirt pocket. Can't ask for more than that.
