A small, foldable, capable gimbal.
First - I received this product from Moza in exchange for writing a review. However they have not approved this review and the opinions are my own.Next - I've owned and used many gimbals over the years so I am familiar with how they work and what should be expected. I am a hobbyist/professional and use gimbals periodically, but not all the time. I shoot on Sony mirrorless camera (a6300 and a6600).The first thing that strikes me about this gimbal is it's size. In the pictures you can see it next to the Moza Aircross and the Moza Mini MX, both of which I own. And, as the size indicates, this gimbal really fits between those two worlds - mobile videography and professional videography. Being so small, and foldable and lockable, it will fit in my camera bag in one piece whereas bigger gimbals like the Aircross may require some dissasembly and secure packing. So for that reason I really like this gimbal. I generally pack light so having an easy to pack gimbal means I'm more likely to bring it with me. It's also significantly easy to hold for longer periods of time. All in all I like that it's small and unassuming - a great match to Sony mirrorless cameras. For functionality, it really gives you what you expect from a gimbal - nice smooth footage. Balancing was easy with my Sony a6300 and Sigma 14mm 1.8 lens. Beyond that, it is really easy to use. Everything you need is a click or double click away, and the functions are easy to learn. This is important for me because I don't use gimbals everyday so I don't want to keep re-learning complicated menus and functions. The Moza Master app is also very helpful for advanced functions, mimic control, and checking if you have properly balanced. That's a big one, especially for beginners. The app has a lot more to it as well like motion timelapse, but for me generally speaking I'll just be using it to stabilize footage. Still, those features are nice to have for specific scenarios. The buttons are laid out such that I could reach anything I needed while holding with one hand. For me the one I used most was toggling in and out of sport mode. I have young kids and when they're moving fast the gimbal needs to as well. This is a 3 in 1 gimbal - action camera, phone, camera. I have only tested with sony cameras. I find that I don't like the workflow of using my phone for video that much, and with my newer go-pros Hypersmooth the footage out of camera is generally smooth enough for what I'm doing. And, I've always kept gimbals as ready to go as possible, and with this one the camera will stay mounted on it almost all the time. That said, if you're someone that wants to stablize footage from multiple different camera types this is a pretty amazing and unique product. My one gripe is that I haven't been able to find a way to put it in inverted mode. On my bigger aircross, because the arms are bigger, you can sweep the arm next to the camera all the way until it's upside down and vertical. With the Mini-P, because of it's smaller size, you can't do this. When I'm chasing kids through the house I often like to have floor level shots which will be more difficult with this gimbal.Gimbals fit in the "nice to have" category for film-making equipment. They also change and update rapidly so spending big money on a gimbal should be a serious decision. This one, at less than $200, is a very good low cost investment into the stabilization world. It's small, lightweight, and easy to learn. I would advise anyone getting into gimbals to start small with something like this, as long as it supports the camera system they use. If you only use a smart phone the Mini Mx is also a solid choice for a bit less money. In my testing it was very similar to the DJI Osmo Mobile 3, which I have since returned. As this gimbal seems a perfect match for the Sony mirrorless size, it will be my primary go to when I need stabilized footage. The bigger aircross will still server a purpose if I ever need a monitor rigged to it, and Mini Mx are nice because I can hand them to anyone and have them record with their phone for additional footage.

Moza Mini-P - Great gimbal for video recording with smartphones and lightweight camera
I personally like using gimbal type devices for video recording since 2017 and own a few smartphone gimbals from brands like Feiyu, Zhiyun as well as Moza. Besides using a smartphone, I'd also like to use one of my Sony RX-100 small cameras to record video. After checking the compatibility list, I ended up getting the Moza Mini-P few months ago. It was because I am already familiar with the Moza app and like other Moza products I own. And most important, this gimbal works with my RX-100 III (others only works with the newer version of the RX-100)First of all, the build quality is quite good. It is better than the phone gimbal (and costs more than phone gimbal) and it is also bigger and heavier (with bigger motors). Since I own a few other smartphone gimbals, setting this Mini-P is quite easy for me. I also did not have any issue with balancing the camera or phone with it. It is pretty straight forward. If you do not know how to do it, you should be able to find a tutorial on Youtube. It is also an easy task to pair the Mini-P to my smartphone, especially since I already have the Moza Genie app installed previously for my Moza Mini MX gimbal. One side note though, if you experience some motors shaking or vibrations with the Mini-P and your smartphone, you may want to add some additional weight on the phone or the phone mount. The motors will shake when the load does not have enough weight. I'd this issue with my Samsung phone with this gimbal but it was fixed after I added additional weight to it. Of course, no vibration issue at all if I use my Sony RX-100 cam with the gambal since the Sony camera is heavier. It is also easy to set up my RX-100 with the Mini-P. Once I had the supplied cable connecting the Sony camera to the gimbal, I was able to start and stop the video recording with the button on the gimbal. However, the Zoom in and out does not work. It is possible that my camera is just too old. But at least I can start and stop the recording without me pressing the button on my old camera. As far as the video stabilization goes, I found that most of the gimbals work well and the Mini-P is no exception. The videos I recorded with the Mini-P look good. And it is quite easy to use. One thing I wish the Moza design team did is adding a little texture to the handle. Or at least offer users a different handle overlay. Like a texture metal handle (great for summer) or with an added soft rubber grip overlay for winter. If you are looking for a relatively lightweight gimbal that works with smartphones, small point and shoot cameras or some lightweight mirrorless cameras, the Moza Mini-P is worth taking a look. It works well for me and I am sure it should work well for you.Now for my Canon 6D camera, I may need to look for a bigger gimbal soon. I will definitely add the Moza newest gimbal to my list and see what they have to offer.

Versatile Gimbal- I made a POV video of EZ way to Setup and Calibrate!
The media could not be loaded. I have been playing around with this new gimbal for the past two weeks and it as been a blast. Its versatile that it can hold my action camera Insta360 ONE R, large Samsung Galaxy Note 20, and my small digital cameras. Its max capacity is 900 g, so i cant put my DSLR on this gimbal. The included instructions need improvement, I figured it out and made a video from my Point of view (POV) for to show how to setup and calibrate this Gimbal correctly.I have been using it for over 2 weeks and on average use it for about 6 to 9 hours at a time, basically a day's worth of video work - on and off. It is rated for 20 hours of and has a USB - C port for charging. The Moza Mini P can be controlled with the Moza app to control special movement features, remote control of select compact cameras, and object tracking. For my purposes, I am using the Moza Mini P for smoother video footage during my travels and for product photography. So I will probably not use the special features until later. The gimbal stabilization works very well on my non-stabilized cameras and smartphones and has been reliable.I comes with a nice foam case, however the gimbal, when folded down can be locked and placed in a smaller bag. I normally travel light and will wrap the camera and gimbal in a microfiber towel in my messenger bag when not in use. When transporting, it will fully disassemble and place it in its custom foam box.Overall an affordable tool for vloggers getting serious about steady smooth video. The gimbal is solid and works right out to the box. I have not explored the advanced features of the app that does special movement and tracking with the gimbal and smartphones, but will update when I do.-Sterling W

Beware, you don't receive what is pictured in the main images.
This is merely a single axis gimbal selfie stick that only works for mobile phones. It is not what is pictured.

The great "In-betweener"
The media could not be loaded. Full disclosure, I've been using a number of Moza products over the years because I do like the innovation that comes out on their products first, and then seem to trickle over to other name brands a year or two later. I've used gimbals from DJI, Feiyutech, Zhiyun, and the like. While I've used the DJI Osmo Mobile before, there were times when I'd have to pack both that mobile gimbal as well as another one for a small travel camera (think of something small like an RX100 sized camera, or an a5100, a6400, etc) if I wanted to do any kind of timelapse. This gimbal really is the bridge. It's small enough when folded down to fit into a travel bag easily, but strong enough to take a mirrorless camera as easily as a phone. Surprisingly, it was smooth enough to make a boring walk in the forest look downright cinematic, so I'm very impressed. Battery life has been great, and the included cable to control Sony cameras comes in handy, but when using it with your phone, don't use the Moza Master app. Use the Moza Genie app, because there it will take full control from the gimbal itself via a bluetooth connection. There you can zoom, have "Pro" controls of the Genie app, and it's really well integrated. Definitely more controls than what you'd find on similar mobile phone gimbals (it even has a full playback function controllable on the gimbal handle to go through your clips you've taken!).All in all, well worth the money, and a great tool for a number of occasions. It's not as strong as bigger setups, but for many people traveling light, this is a great setup.

Excellent entry level gimbal
Very well built and user friendly gimbal. Surprisingly simple and quick camera balance. Really easy to use. Excellent versatility - capable of accommodating a variety of cameras within the weight limits. Amazing battery life, decent instruction booklet and factory videos. Good accompanying app. Only drawback: clumsy and bulky carrying case it comes with.

Upgrading from DJI Osmo 1
I bought the DJI osmo when it first came out. It was great, but having used this one, the Moza Mini P blows it right out of the water. Its crazy how much improvements have come since I first got a gimbal for my phone. It is was smoother, better controls, better balance, and I am really loving this one! The proce os amazing as well!

Moza Mini P Gimbal works for GoPro
Congress with a sleek looking case to hold the gimbal and it looks very professional. Big step up for Moza. I have purchased the first ever final they ever made for DSLR’s and even then it never disappoints. Very reliable brand and amazing quality product. I recommend for anyone needing a gimbal.
