Great for work outs
So I got tired of destroying my ear buds with my workouts. Air pods didn’t hold up to activities and work outs without constantly falling out. Between that and sweat, they were destroyed in a short amount of time. I also tried Melomania which were a much better fit for work outs, phone calls on IPhone , teams meeting HP laptop, battery life was about 10x better than AirPods , but eventually due to sweat, the microphone feature got spotty. So I decided to get these strictly for workouts, AirPods for phone calls, Teams meetings, general use kind of stuff. These JBL’s took a few weeks for my ears to get used to, they hurt quite a bit the first week. But the sound is fantastic compared to AirPods or Melomania. No worries about them slipping out while sweaty and working out. Some general functions to pause, skip forward/back, on/off. This was really all I need. Will continue to punish this pair. I’m surprised that with such a large casing, the battery life isn’t longer, still better than AirPod case battery life though

Much Better then I Expected...
First of all, the thing you need to know about me is I mainly listen to music on my iPod Classic. Still. Yep, I'm one of THOSE people. I use a dongle that I attach to the iPod and it normally works very well. In a lot of cases, better then my cell phone. So with that in mind, let me tell you about my experiences with sports earphones. I've been thinking about getting a pair for quite awhile, but I didn't want to get them if I felt there was any danger of me losing them. A few weeks ago I run across a youtube video about Powerbeats and how hard it is to dislodge them, so I thought I'd give them a try. So I get my super expensive Powerbeats and it is a total bust, because they refuse to pair with my iPod/bluetooth set up. It's not the first time it's happened, but it's the first time it's happened with an Apple product. Also, I didn't really love the sound, but that could have been because I didn't put any effort to adjust them very well because for what they cost, I wasn't going to keep them if I couldn't pair them with the device I use most often to listen to music. Next I tried another brand and I won't mention that one because the experience was even worse then with the Powerbeats. They not only refused to pair, but when I tried listening listening to them using my phone, they were nearly the worst sounding device I ever used to listen to music. The only thing I did like was the case, which had a very nice feel. But that did not make them worth keeping. So I was going to give up, but then I ran across the JBL EP2 (I'm not using the entire silly name). I had a friend who loved JBL products and urged me to try them. So I did. First off, they paid more easily then almost any other device I've tried pairing with my iPod Classic. I was pretty amazed, because usually I have to try a few times to get a connection, but it happened almost instantly. After that, I thought that they would sound horrible, because how could they be all that? I wasn't completely wrong. The sound wasn't good. It wasn't horrible, but they fell well short of what I was expecting. So I told my friend I was going to return them, but then he asked me how tight the fit was. So I asked him how tight is the fit supposed to be. It turns out, pretty tight. If the EP2's aren't wedged in really well, apparently all the sound escapes from your ears and you're left with a tinny shadow of how good they can sound. I found when I really jammed them in, the sound was really good. Full and detailed (I'm not an audiophile so don't expect a lot of flowery language about sound fields and highs and lows). But the ear tips that came with the ear buds did not give that tight a fit, especially if I moved around so I tried a couple of other makers. Now they fit very snug and I couldn't be happier about the purchase. I took one star off because I had to go to the trouble of getting the different ear tips. So, I'm keeping these. I'm sure Amazon will be happy. Take care all

5 Years of Daily Use Until the 1st Piece Broke & cracked.
I've had this exact pair of JBLs for almost a full 5 years straight. I even dropped them by accident and a dog tried to eat them and they were perfectly fine afterwards. Now after many years of daily use 1 ear piece has finally broken. The magnet still works as the on/off button and no wires or electronics are inside the piece that goes over the top of the ear so the earphone still charges and plays properly. A little bit of glue and duct tape and the broke piece continues to perform it job just fine. I am greatly pleased with the quality of these headphones compared to the substandard ones I used to have that'd quit working after a few weeks of daily use. I know this review is saying when they broke, but I wanted to give my review now for anyone who might be considering these earphones to say as someone who decided to take the risk and give them a try despite not seeing any long-term use reviews, that these have done splendidly for 5 years straight & despite the damage they're still working so I expect they still have years more before they really break down and I have to replace them.

EDIT: after 2.5 years 1 of the loops (the 1 used the most) cracked and eventually the arm broke off. But with a little tape it still works fine! ;) Although I won't be putting this ear piece near water or take it to the gym (I've mostly been wearing it around the house) it still works! I will wait until this really stops working to buy a new pair and the newest version of these are even better! Pros: I never have to worry they'll fall out (compared to in-ear buds) Comfortable long term wear (compared to in ear buds which made my ears sore) You "twist lock" them into the ear creating a good seal to block out external sounds so sound quality is good and clear Can use either bud on its own for calls or music When you're on a call with both buds in, you hear from both buds (some cheaper brands don't actually have this feature surprisingly!) As an android phone user (specifically a Google Pixel) I love that it pairs directly with my Google account! This enables quick Bluetooth pairing and shows me battery life for EACH separate bud and lets me know I'm connected :) Cons: The touch controls are tough to get used to (they're actually not very sensitive so it's hard to find the right place to touch especially with such a large surface area. I guess this isn't so bad because I've used in ear buds and they are too sensitive it skips tracks or activates my assistant by accident) **A good work around I found was to practice in front of a mirror LOL but also rest a finger on your cheek to stabilize your hand to activate a touch command (this is even more important to do when running or moving) If you always wear glasses these are not the buds for you! This is not really a con just an obvious fact. I'm a part time glasses wearer so it does make it annoying but honestly it's not that bad for short periods of time (like if I'm on a quick call but I would never wear glasses AND these buds for extended periods of time) No Active Noise Cancelling or Ambient Sound features - I think without these it keeps the price tag down but if JBL could create an Endurance Peak 3 with these specs they would honestly be #1 especially because they market these as "outdoor" buds. For safe hiking and being outdoors it would be great to have the Ambient Sound option. **BUT a good work around for this is that you can just use 1 bud and have your other ear free to hear your surroundings.** ... I never wanted over the ear/hook buds but after trying different in-ear wireless buds I had to try something new. The in ear buds ALWAYS fell out when I talked, went for a run or they would stick out too far I would bump them out accidentally which made them prone to breaking/getting lost (I would have to wear them with a headband covering my ears just to keep them in). The fit of the in ear buds would press into the folds of my ears causing pain by the end of a 45min run. And I certainly couldn't wear them at work for music and calls because they would cause too much pain. That's why I looked into over-ear/hook buds and after doing research of what was out there, my recommendation is these are the best ones ESPECIALLY if you're an Android user! I'm sure if you're picky the sound quality might not be the absolute best compared to some bigger brands but they do a really great job for sound & call quality. You'll definitely be getting your money's worth with these buds!

Me encanta que no se mueven para nada, resistencia al agua, y subir y bajar el volumen solo con un toque es muy funcional, son duros pero muy buenos, siento que la acústica no es buenísima pero funcionan para el gym perfecto
