Fantastic piece of equipment
Was a little sceptical given previous reviews of this unit. However, once I had taken receipt of the item it was perfect in every way. fabulous quality, so easy to set up and although I had planed to hard wire this to my Server, its wireless pickup worked great, even though situated well away from my router. Set up was a breeze and virtually all automatic. All functions easily accessed and set up and works brilliantly as a bluetooth receiver also. I wired this through a Technics Amp and the sound quality is absolutely fabulous. The range of scan, and network connection works brilliantly and the scan of channels in all formats was also quick and automatically set up. I purchased this due to my old Technics tuner struggling to pick up a decent RDS /FM signal but there are no such problems with this Tuner. I don't think I will ever listen to FM again as the DAB works perfectly and with crystal clarity. Once Channels have been automatically scanned and programmed, it gives the choice to manually rename FM Channels but I dont feel the need to do this as the Internet radion and the DAB radio list all necessary information on the colourful screen at the front of the unit. When in sleep mode, the clock is a handy function to have too. So in summary, and Excellent piece of kit at a super price. definitely recommended.

suprisingly good sound quality
it is a bit light on feel/build quality, but tuners generaly are. i wanted it for th DAB radio and blue tooth functions. i am using it with an ARCAM 8R amplifier and Bose 301 Music Monitor II speakers and it produces a sound close to CD quality of my NAD 660 when using the blue tooth mode. in DAB mode 6Music and radio 4 and local bbc staion 3CR for footy game commentry, the sound quality is as good as CD . reception of DAB signal is excellent but i am lucky to live in a good DAB reception area. blue tooth mode reception is good for up to 3 metres. it has FM but who wants it, it connects to the WI FI modem which is 5 metres away and there is a substancial amount of internet stations available. having tried the Majority FITZWILLIAM prior to this i feel this has better sound quality and reception. with the Majority FITZWILLIAM i had to turn down the bass on the amp with this i can leave the amp settings alone. one gripe i have with both units is the displays are too small and they do not supply playing info when using the blue tooth mode. in DAB mode you get the usual info such as track and artist playing but not in blue tooth mode. the remote control unit feels a bit cheap but it does what you need it to do. the build of the unit and remote feel cheap but that is because the price is. in sumarry it produces a good sound quality, but that may depend upon what you are connecting it to and it costs a little more than the price of a stylis.

Review of WR-10 Radio Tuner: Excellent
This is a review of the WR-10 HiFi Radio Tuner: I have only had this for a week, so I will comment on it's reliability at a later date. It looks good with a nice black finish on the front. Easy to use, with clear instructions. Every thing can be done from the remote control (which comes without batteries) except switch the power on. Switching on and off from standby can be done from the remote control. Internet radio was easy to use with the stations categorised into genres, and the genres being subdivided again. The DAB and FM worked fine from and an old TV aerial in the loft (which can be adjusted). The FM sound quality was particularly good. The sound quality through the headphone socket was also very good. The headphone volume can be adjusted on the receiver and on the remote control. The clock clearly displays the current time and sets itself automatically. I have already had one batch of updates after switching it on, which is encouraging , because it shows that the software (and station list is being maintained). This service is free. It is very hard to find any negatives: The red standby light is a bit bright, which could be a problem for people who sleep with it on standby (to use the alarm). And the power on/off switch is at the back, but easily reached by me because it is at the corner on the left. I fully recommend this radio tuner.

Very poor quality sound, build and features. Buy the Hama from Amazon instead.
There is no support for flac. There is no streaming app, so no Spotify, Amazon etc, no Undok. Appauling FM and DAB quality with a dedicated chimney mounted aeriel. Bluetooth is very distorted at frequencies below 200Hz on the right channel only - strange but true, sounds like a blown woofer! Same on headphones and SPDIF out, so must be a firmware problem (same on 3 tested units). 1st unt sent, had intermittent WiFi and distorted sound as above. 2nd Unit had no working WiFi, worked on LAN and distorted as above. 3rd unit as second but the remote didn't work either. Conclusion, there is no quality control, the build quality is awful, (close pitch ICs are hand soldered, not re-flowed and have dry joints) the firmware / software is poor and limited. My 4th unit is a Hama branded streamer from Amazon, which is the opposite! It was £100 more, but excellent value for an internet tuner / streamer, will play and do everything I want, excellent build quality, excellent sound quality. Not in the Linn league but very good indeed. Spend the extra, buy the German option.

A great bit of kit.
This tuner matches perfectly with the rest of my hi-fi stack and I can now stream music via my PC and Bluetooth through a decent amp & speakers. I had no real problem in setting it up and the choice of radio stations available is mindblowing. My only very minor criticism is that the DAB antennae supplied is just a wire which does its job but doesn't stay in position to give the best reception. I have just ordered a mast one which should make this tuner the perfect addition to my sound system. I wish I had bought it years ago.

Bought this unit because dab in my area sucks, so internet radio was the way to go. Plugged it into power , which they supplied a converter for my aussie plug 240volt, plugged in the network cable turned it on and to my surprise it auto updated the software and it was so easy just to add new internet stations to my favourites and i was up and running no issues. It comes with rca out plugs for your speakers, i just got a converter cable from local jaycar store for my Bose speakers to work with it, and boy does it sound great. Adding internet stations is just so easy plus i can play from my iPhone to it as well, worth every cent i paid. It tells you on the screen what station and song is playing plus has a clock showing when you turn it on standby.

Perfectly thin to put in a stack of components. Easy to set up without a manual. If I can do it, anyone can. Very good quality of sound, considering it is an internet radio, Optical OUT is flimsy, but there are other connection options.

The device is actually designed for use in Europe but fits in nicely here in America. Excellent in every way! The terrestrial RF (over the air) tuner functions well, the internet tuner is excellent as far as bit rate download and station selection. The blue-tooth and Wi-Fi all work well, and I had it playing music within 15 minutes from when unboxing it! It integrates into my Onkyo component system perfectly. It uses the online interface for easier station selection, the name is Skytune, and allows searching, selecting, reorganizing, uploading and all editing of stations from a PC/Laptop to and that are already within the tuner. (Much easier than using the dial on the face of the device). You simply go to the Skytune website (skytune.net), and search there, and click on the "red heart" on the station you would like to save, then another site will open asking you for the IP address, which is within the setup menu of the device. Then it will ask you to "listen now" or "save to favorites", and it will show a menu where it places the selection. It will also show it on the display of the WR-10 device. Very easy once you start selecting stations and saving, just repetitious. Nothing hi-tech about that, very easy. I have had only one glitch with the device since having it a month now....it would not boot up, so I simply unplugged the power supply from the rear of the unit (power cycle) and waited 10 or 15 seconds, plugged it back in, and all was well. *****5 stars***** (especially for this price!)

UPDATE: The previously replaced unit is still working great and I just received and installed my second unit for a different audio system in a different room. Works great there too! Using my WiFi to connect both units wirelessly. Very satisfied with both of them. Can get access to many, many radio stations (although my mainstay is WFMT in Chicago) whereas before had only the single local broadcast station. Great product and highly recommended! I recently moved to a rural area of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. There's only one broadcast radio station available with good reception in the area. I searched high and low for an internet radio solution that can be connected to my existing audio system. Some systems were ridiculously expensive while others were rube-goldberg messes. The Ocean Digital WR10 fits the bill perfectly, does what it's supposed to do (internet tuner) and does it well. The unit I received did produce random clicks and pops in the audio which I chalked up to my WiFi setup. After a few months, however, the unit would frequently reset on its own and flash a blank screen. I contacted support and Karen helped me out by sending a replacement unit. I've even more satisfied because the new unit works perfectly and there are no clicks and pops (which shows the first unit was defective). I like it so much, I'm going to purchase a second one for the audio system in my family room. I can highly recommend the WR10 for anyone looking for a basic internet radio tuner at a very reasonable price. As a reference, I listen mainly to classical music and stick pretty much to WFMT Chicago, occasionally switching to the 24 hour Bach channel. While I don't claim to be an audiophile nor do I have an expensive audio system, I'm very pleased with the sound quality from the replacement unit.

I’m giving this 4 stars but initially felt like it was a 3 as it’s missing some must haves and there is a steep learning curve compared to the apps I’m used to. Got this as a replacement for chromecast audio, which has been crashing once every few days and stops streaming several times a day. We use this for background music so that’s unacceptable. I used it with the Chromecast stream support in TuneIn app, and except for flaky Chromecast device it was a really easy experience. That didn’t prepare me for the unpolished experience of the Ocean Digital ecosphere. The unit works, but for the cost I’d expect more, especially since this is all software fixes that would make it better. Display doesn’t dim on anything but background mode for example, and how does anyone who uses internet radio in the real world think 5 seconds max buffering is enough? Sound is interrupted several times an hour and our connection is excellent. I really miss the dynamic range setting of Chromecast as well, without compression it’s only so-so for background music use. The station selection is where this really falls down. Using Skytune menu system is a pain because some categories have thousands of stations at the lowest level, for example “radio xxxx” which takes minutes of scroll to get through just that part of the list. So that’s almost useless. The device web server literally supports only entering all station information by hand, no search at all, no other configuration. So much lost opportunity. (I did use the “suggest station” page on Skytune, it’s a pain to enter so much data that should be optional, but it was added within 24 hours). I really miss Chromecast link in apps like TuneIn that start the hardware playing that URL after which the device continues without needing further controls. Gotta be a better way. Oh well, time to go back to editing web page source like it was 1999 again...
