These authentic prayer flags are true blessings, and we are very fortunate to have the seller providing them to us on Amazon so they can reach a huge audience. They are cotton flags, so no worry about synthetic fibers dispersing as the flags degrade. They come wrapped in beautiful handmade paper. Besides stringing them up, I like to roll up a single strand and wrap a copy of The Heart Sutra around it and place them on park benches or other public spots where strangers can find them. You might write “free peaceful gift” on the outside so others know it’s available to them. And you can find a free pdf of the sutra translated by Thich Nhat Hanh if you do an internet search for “The Insight That Brings Us To The Other Shore plum village pdf”.

I've used Tibetan flags for decades. Wish I had found this company earlier. The quality and craftsmanship of these Healing Lama Tibetan prayer flags are excellent. These flags are everything I was looking for. They're traditional, authentic, cotton, with pleasing vibrant colors, clean, quality printing, and decent white cord with long ends for convenience when tying. They're affordably priced and offered in a quantity I wanted (50 flags per pack divided into five 10 flag groupings). According to the Certificate of Authenticity page included in the packs, the flags were "blessed and energized by Lama Dorje Jampa Tenzing...", which is a plus. It also says the flags were "handcrafted in Nepal." The flags were wrapped flat (not rolled) in what appears to be handmade printed paper that's pretty enough to reuse as gift wrap. Because the flags arrived neatly arranged and flat there were no wrinkles in the flags, another plus. Some reviewers mentioned smell. I did not notice any unpleasant smell with these flags. Recommended. I plan to buy from the Healing Lama Buddhist Shop again.

I'm speaking from Brazil, and although I had to pay for shipping expenses I have no regrets whatsoever. The flags are just like the ones you find in monasteries in Nepal and Tibet, made from durable cotton fabric that naturally frays and fades with the weather. They are infinitely better than any flags I purchased so far and with beautiful contrasting colors (green, blue, red, white, yellow) and prayers in Tibetan. They are also neatly arranged in a packet and they appear to have been pressed prior to being packed. The plus is that they were blessed by Lama Dorje Jampa Tenzing and one can feel the energy. They have no smell. Excellent for personal use and as a gift. I'll be sure to buy them again.

Love the colorful wind horse flags. It brightens the back deck. Could be longer, and/or have a longer excess cording for tying off.

These flags are wonderful. They arrived flat, not rolled up, wrapped in special hand-printed paper along with a lovely note. A bonus is that the stickers on the packages were easily removable, so as not to rip the paper! The flags are cotton, not synthetic, and so will fade and ravel as they are meant to do.
