I've had two bass knobs in the past and neither one worked. They both came new in the box with an amplifier purchase so needless to say I was very skeptical of them in general. I got tired of having to enter the menu on the head unit to adjust my subs all the time and so i decided to try one of these and i must say i am very happy with it. Mainly because it was inexpensive, and it works, but also because it's so much more convenient to adjust my subs. There isn't any lights or displays on it either, which i like because i drive at night and i don't want anything lighting up my interior.

This bass knob works wonderfully. It absolutely made a difference over the cheap one I had before. Every time I touched the old one, the bass would jump as if I turned it up Hella high for a fraction of a second. I was actually worried I might blow my speakers I just bought out because I am trying to condition them before really letting loose. The new knob is way more precise. It is smooth and has a great range. The old knob wouldn't quite turn the bass all the way down. This knob goes from all the way off to I swear even louder than the other knob. The setup was literally self explanatory. It's a 3.5mm jack on your amp (or you got the wrong knob if it looks like a phone/ethernet cord) and another in the bass knob which I also like better than it being directly wired into the knob. The size is standard as far as I can tell, it's the same size as all the others I have used, and the cord is super long so you can have you amp anywhere in your car and not worry. I can already tell it is much more durable than the old knob. It's starting off in a better position actual knob wise! I would say you get what you pay for. A cheap one may work but will it work well? Do you have one 10" speaker with a 500w amp so who cares if the knob is absolutely perfect. Or do you have two 12" 2300w speakers with a 4000w mono block amp so if the bass jumps to max on a whim from your bass knob it may blow the alarms on the whole block. In the end if the value for the price is worth it is subjective, but I will say 1000% yes it's worth it.
