Tarot of Oppositions

Cards: I like the thickness and they are slippery. Fit in my smaller size hand easily but not as small as playing cards in my opinion or are they. Size is perfect for me but although if larger they may not need to be brighter in art color. I love the art except a little dark, will need a well lighted room or light focusing on cards to work. I love the balance as above so below, really not a reverse reading although can read them that way, but more for the upside of thing and the downside of things as a whole in a reading. I really do love the flexibility and varsity of these cards, just wish the art was a bit brighter. The small title of each card is on each side of the card depending on position so you know the card, I like. The cards edges are white and I wished they done them in gold as per the inside of the little booklet has some gold fonts.Box: I love the design of the box, vertical standing to fix cards and booklet in there together. Top slides off leaving cards standing inside it.Booklet: same size of cards and fit in the palm of my hand. I like the font and cute gold foil looking font here and there in the titles within the book. I wish it was larger and more detailed. But good summing it up. Although not a negative or reverse reading the list it as positive and negative. Mostly black and white and have samples of the cards for certain reading in color but those card samples are too tiny in my opinion. But I don't have they youngest or sharpest eyes on the block.Over I proud of my purchase and glad I invested.UPDATE: I love these cards. They connected me effortlessly. My eyes are seeing the shadow side much easier. The box is sturdy and serves multiple purposes as I work these cards. The designer and artist did an outstanding job with these cards. The card are strong physically and spiritually with communication and connecting with your intuitive reading and/or with your guide. Yes I am in love.

I love everything about this deck. The cards are sturdy and should hold up quite well. The illustrations are beautifully rendered, and the opposite images are a really cool approach . Being an avid student of tarot, I really appreciate when a deck offers something new or a new twist on the original tarot. This is so unique that for people that love to read reversals, this is the deck for you. It is accurate, and I love it. I don’t know what else to say. The images are gorgeous, you might not even need the book if you understand Tarot very well, however, this is like I said a unique take on the original Tarot that doesn’t swing so far to the other side that it makes it unrecognizable. I appreciate it, and I love to use the deck.

easy to shuffel and great to handle nice quality card stock. great price on here and came very fast and on time.

I do appreciate the concept of having reversed meaning in the cards and this is super convenient for beginners. However, some cards doesn’t depict the right meaning of the upright/reverse. I.e three of Swords upright is a positive image, the reverse of ten of Cups is broken, the reversed of the Sun is upset and witty.The card quality is great and I love the design of the drawing and back of the card.Bottom line I would recommend it.

I’m glad I added them to the collection.* I love them but after using them only a few times the cards are looking pretty beat up. They’d be perfect if they improved the quality a bit

So keep in mind that the first part of the review is more or less comparing this deck to others that I own.This deck is gorgeous, the artwork is lovely and it has one of my favorite card backs. The card stock is slick but not slick enough to just slip out of my hands while handling them and they don’t stick together either which is great.Now, the cards are slightly different from the typical meanings or at least that’s how I’m noticing it. In common tarot some upright cards have negative associations and some reversed cards have positive associations. However this deck is more so a “positive” and “negative” instead of the upright and reversed, so if you get this deck be sure to read up on the booklet before diving straight into reading.Overall it’s a great deck that I’m really starting to love the more I interact with it and I’m so glad I was able to snag it up. ♥
