A perfect set in (almost) every way!
I am so happy with this silverware set! I was looking for something inexpensive, with a simple design, and a high-quality feel. It was a bit of a gamble, ordering online, as you have to make some assumptions about the "feel" of the product. Let me just tell you that I was not disappointed. Maybe I'm a little OCD about my silverware, but I haven't really found a set that I've liked, and I'm almost 50 years old! They are either too heavy, too light, have an annoying embellishment, a sharp edge, or fork tines bend too easily. Or sometimes they just don't feel right in your hand for whatever reason. (Is it just me??)The pros:- very nice high-quality feel- smooth finish with rounded edges- a nice "weight" to them without being too heavy- extremely strong fork tines- clean, simple lookThe (one) con:- The larger of the spoons is just too large - why???? This set would be perfect if you could comfortably fit that spoon into your mouth. But as it is, we pretty much only use those four as serving spoons. Ugh. Still - I gave this set 5 stars because I have been through at least a dozen sets of silverware in my lifetime, and so far, this is my favorite. And I spent a full day researching on Amazon, and couldn't find anything else of this high quality for this great price. If anyone else has a better find - let me know! :-)

Amazing quality!! Heavy and durable!
I purposely waited a while to write this review. We’ve had this set for almost 2 months now and I’m very impressed. Good, durable, and the finish stays wash after wash. I’ve never owned a better set. Highly recommend. Heavy and well balanced!

Fantastic!
I could hardly believe it was possible to get 18/10 grade stainless for this price. I thought surely something must be wrong with it... but nothing is! This flatware will outlast me. The design and finish are so elegant that I can use it with my fine china instead of the sterling, and it looks fantastic. The pieces are very solid, heavy and well balanced, everything you would expect from stainless flatware costing four times as much. I am going to get the matching hostess set and check out their other products too.Added note: It is now 3 years since I bought this set, and it's still just as good as when it was new. No rust or corrosion, no scratches, despite daily use and going through the dishwasher. Worth every penny!

95% thrilled, 5% annoyed
Beautiful and elegant. These utensils are not cheaply made or lightweight. They are sturdy and feel great in your hand. I would have given five stars, but the dinner forks are built oddly. The two center tines are slightly elevated from the two outer ones. Barely noticeable when you look at them, but quite noticeable when you put them in your mouth. I thought at first it was just one of the forks and the tines got bent, but I tried all 12 and they all are the same. So I assume it's intentional. Other than that, I really like the set. They look fancy, but simple.

Elegant and simple with stainless steel durability!
I've been looking for silverware for quite some time but I could not find anything with any weight that was 18/10 Stainless that I could afford. I could find what I could afford (uh huh) and I could find pretty 18/10, but not both. Then I came across this set I was thrilled. It looked nice and weighty and I crossed my fingers until it got here - I was not disappointed. The luster and shine is true to 18/10 Stainless and this set is beautifully fabricated with well polished edges and beautiful shine. I tend to look for a long time before I purchase things for my home and I've been using the same flatware for over 30 years. I wanted a set for my camper (no, I'm not a plastic and paper plate kinda gal) and ordered these with the idea that it would be nice enough for that. Well ... I guess I'm going to put my old set (which is lovely) in the camper and order two more sets of these for the house. Hubby loves them (says they feel good in the hand) ! It you like elegant simplicity - this is it!

Sturdy and nice quality set
Beautiful cutlery set. Durable. Dishwasher safe. Heavy duty — does not feel light at all. This is a nice quality substantial set. A couple of things to note though:1. We do occasionally get water spots on them from the dishwasher. The spots wipe off easily. But if this is one of your concerns, this is not the set for you.2. I didn’t realize this when I purchased it, but I use this set outdoors often. I didn’t realize that black silverware gets very very hot in the sun. It gets so hot that you can’t even touch it. So if you plan to use this outside and leave it in the sun, don’t get a black set.Otherwise I’m very happy with this product.

Goregous . . . Beautiful . . . and REALLY nice!!!
I'm so glad I didn't assume I had to spend a lot more on flatware. The Artaste Rain set is absolutely gorgeous. I bought 3 20-piece sets and I was so impressed that I just bought a fourth 20-piece set as back up in case I lose or damage a piece. Another reviewer compared this setting to something on a "Downton Abbey" table and I certainly agree. The pieces have a great weight and have a brilliant "polished silver" sheen to them. The larger spoon is great for soup and doesn't have a "sharp" edge and isn't too deep like some other spoons I've had. They simply feel great in the hand and look great on the table. I feel bad about leaving in a drawer all day!!! I have been washing them in the dishwasher without any issues and they don't even get water spots on them like my old flatware did.

Very Nice Flatware A Wee Bit Large
I bought these and thought if they were not up to snuff, I'd simply return them and go with a 'known' brand. When they arrived, I was impressed by the feel and look of the flatware. Heavy (in a good way), shiny, no imperfections. They have been in daily use for some time now, dishwasher only, no rust/spots.The only thing I will say is that they should be about 10-15% smaller. The flatware is just about too big to use, especially the large spoon. Handles just fit in my flatware basket for the dishwasher. A minor observation, still very well pleased with this set.
