I liked the Ohm floss that came in the original bamboo cylinder. But, the refill pack didn't do the job in those tight spots. The floss broke in the tight spaces in my mouth -- which left me with a piece of floss that is broken four times every night. Then, I had to floss with the usual plastic floss in those spaces. I was very disappointed. Fortunately, I wrote to the company, and they were kind and diligent enough to work on an improvement and, once it was ready, provide me with a free replacement. Now, a piece of floss might break once between tight teeth, but not every time I floss. I am happy that I am able to set aside the plastic floss and toss the used Ohm floss in the city's compost collection, since it is made of silk and wax. My experience with the company will make me a repeat buyer.

Never broke when I used it between tighter teeth. Works very well and turned a friend onto it who enjoys it as well. Lots of floss for the money and if you get the little container for it makes it an even better value. And best of all no plastics!

Good quality. Better than national chemical brands. Would order again for purse and for travel. Wish larger size were available.

This stuff is thick and takes a little getting used to--especially if you use the stuff that glides/tape stuff. At first I was unsure about it but the more I inspect the floss after using it--I can tell it is really pulling a lot from between my teeth. I appreciate how it is good for the environment! I have purchased this 3 times now.

I bought the Ohm bamboo floss holder a few months ago. I was pretty happy with what I received. The floss did shred a little bit, but worth it for something that is biodegradable. When the original spool that came with the bamboo holder was almost gone, I ordered this refill. It's TERRIBLE. It shreds so easily that I'm using 3 to 4 times the amount of floss I would normally use. Not sure why the refill is so bad when the original spool was ok, but I'll have to figure out a different eco friendly flossing solution now.

Strong, great floss for tight spots, environmentally friendly.

EDIT: I did get a response from the company stating that they're going to review their quality control practices and they offered me a refund. That's a good sign for me and makes the purchase low risk so I'm giving them a star back.Like other recent reviews mention, something is different between getting a new floss kit a few months ago and getting this refill today.Original was great, the strongest eco friendly floss I had tried... This is now bottom of the barrel.Not sure if they're pulling a switcheroo between the new kit and the refill it if they changed their manufacturing process but it's not with getting anymore.

There's a bit of a learning curve. It breaks occasionally, mostly when I don't rotate the floss often enough or pull it taut too strongly. I love that I'm not putting plastics into my gumline or the environment! I love the Lotus flower bamboo container, it makes flossing a bit more pleasant 😁
