Exceeded expectations
This is one of the best Vitamin C's I have tried.I was kind of skeptical of a Vitamin C mixed with other ingredients, however after trying this for a few weeks I saw a fairly significant change in my skin. I felt like red spots faded faster and after waking up I had a more even tone overall. I also use this brand's regular vitamin C and I felt this worked a lot better at night than that. The smell of this serum is also great with the rosehip oil, I really enjoy the smell and love using it for that. The only minor downside of this serum is it gives off a oily complexion immediately after applying it, but it's meant for night use so technically doesn't matter. As with all skin care products YMMV, but for ~$20 a bottle it's very much worth trying.

Love this for night time! I’d swim in it if I could.
Love this! I use it nightly on my face and even mix a few foot into my body lotion. Incredibly moisturizing for glowy radiant smooth skin. Love it so much.

There is NOTHING WRONG with this formula - it's perfect, and I love this brand
I gave it four stars because 1) I don't like the rose scent, though it dissipates almost as soon as you put it on - that certain scent just reminds me of old ladies. I knew when I bought it that it had a rose scent, so that's on me - not the product itself.I also knew 2) that it has squalane in it, which is of course very oily, and I have oily skin, so it's a bit too much for me at times and causes oil to transfer on to my glasses throughout the day, but again, that's on me.It's well formulated and fresh - there is no dark color or strong odor that indicates oxidation at all - the color is a very, very light yellow, as it should be, and you will need less than you think - I carefully put three drops on my fingers and tap it in around my face, then use petroleum jelly around my nasolabial folds and on my lips to prevent transfer and potential irritation to that area.I really like Dr. Brenner products and trust them. The hyaluronic acid product made by this company is the best I've ever used. This product of course has active ingredients in it and behaves differently than a hydrator and humectant like hyaluronic acid, so that means the way I use it (and the amount) differs from how I use a regular serum. Overall, I very must recommend it - I've come across lots of Vitamin C products that have oxidized or that felt sticky, but this is a positive experience and a good purchase.

Great at reducing appearance of scarring and large pores
I absolutely love this stuff. I received it as a sample with my Dr. Brenner day serum order and after the first few uses of the sample, I immediately ordered a full bottle. I suffered pretty bad acne in my teenage years and still have some scarring, dark spots, and larger appearing pores as a result. This serum after using the first few nights, made an apparent difference in all of my skin issues. It’s great for moisturizing as well- I don’t experience the same uncomfortable dry spots on my face in the winter anymore. Not too oily (which is very important with how oily my face is naturally). The scent is nice as well and it’s not too heavily scented. It absorbs into my skin very quickly, so I don’t have to wait too long before I layer my night cream on top. I recommend this stuff to everyone and will religiously use it every single night.

Excellent option for Seb Derm
Squalane, Caprylic Acid, and Mastic gum are all highly recommended for fighting the malassezia yeast that causes Seborrheic Dermatitis. I've had very good luck with it so far, and it doesn't seem to develop the funky smell that regular MCT oil does after it soaks in. This form of vitamin C is also very well regarded, and you'll find it in some very high end products. I finally have my skin under control!
