The wheels work! You can push it around like a matchbook car. I buy a lot of the miniature replica pencil sharpeners from this seller. The attention to detail and the quality of the sharpener is top notch. It's sturdy. I sharpened almost a half of a pencil to test the actual sharpener part. It works perfectly. The door that keeps shavings in doesn’t stay shut, meaning you pretty much have to use it over a trash can. Kinda defeat the purpose but it’s very cute, and I love trains.
