I've been wearing these for about a year now and they've held up well. Should get five years out of them at this rate. The comfort is extraordinary, a little hard to get on and off but that's a boot for ya. They aren't too heavy either. The leather has picked up some scuffs and scratches. I keep them oiled and clean but you can't avoid marks and wear. But there have been no tears or apparent hard wear spots. They look amazing, especially with a pair of boot cut jeans, they don't need any time to break in and fit well from the beginning - - - Of course these are a classic Doc Marten Boot. You can't go wrong.

The shoe right out of the box looks high quality. They're comfortable but feels like it'll need a little breaking in. Considering I have a wide foot wasn't sure if it'll be too snug but thankfully that is not a problem! Sizing is great. I was also looking for a shoe of durability and I think this is gonna make the cut.

Love these at work boots for my department. Once you break in super comfortable, leather wears nicely. Very little color fade. Black boots is the way to go, very easy to put on and take off once broken in. Fit is just a little bigger than normal size. So far I have worn a pair to work Monday through Friday for over a year and it is still holding up pretty good. I do clean and condition about one every two weeks. I just use an all in one cleaner/conditioner. The only really issue I had was the shoe inserts were thin and did last about 3 months before I wore a hole in it. I bought some gel shoe inserts and that made it even more comfortable. I’ve bought two more of the same boots to rotate out to last longer, but so far I have been rotating two and still have one pair brand new waiting to be rotated in. I hope they don’t stop production and they keep making these.

I love Doc Martens, now I am sharing my favorite boots brand with my boyfriend for his birthday. These are durable and well made. I have always been able to count on this brand for reliable wear, and no defects. Great work or play boots!!!

Feels comfortable without having to break in.

The comfort and lite weight are awesome! The size and fit are perfect. I have worn boots most of my life. I'm a landscape photographer, with a lot of hiking involved. I couldn't wait to try them out. I found, in a wooded relatively flat terrain,it's a 10 of 10, and in moutainous rocky terrain a 6 of 10. In rocky hill terrain, the grip was only average and the bottom of my feet were a briefly sore after. However, this style of boot was not made for heavy hiking, I was just pushing it a little. These boots are for comfort, style, and lite hiking, and they deliver!

From day one these were incredibly comfy, I've heard lots of complaints about having to break these sort of shoes in and having a nightmare period - this was not the case!

Been wearing them everyday for a year now. Soles are crap after a month, oh well. The back heel stitches are just now coming apart. Very impressed with the quality to cost so far. Im buying another pair soon! Keep them waxed and they stay quite waterproof. Love these sooo much I genuinely can't find a better fitting boot than these.

It is an authentic Martens. One doesn't need to say anything more. But Be aware that there are some “Martens,” too. Search only for the originals, which always look like this one.
