Very nice product. They have a very high quality feel and fit very securely into the back of my amp. They unscrew into 2 pieces to allow for a connection to your speaker wire. It's a compression fit for the wire and unlike other plugs I have used, they have a scalloped lip to allow for the bare wire to be compressed while also allowing for the external barrel to screw down completely. They are also shorter than some other plugs I've used allowing for them to fit in tighter spaces. My only regret is that I didn't order more!

I'm new to banana plugs I found these very easy to set up with the instruction video posted here on Amazon. I recently bought a semi-new Home theater system and it's up and running great now with this item as part of it. Fast shipping too. Recommended.

Good thing I was able to find the right banana plugs for my Sony 5.1 Core Series speaker system. Paired with #16 gauge wire and connection was excellent. Build quality is superb and will not let wire slip from the plug as long as copper strands are distributed properly on its teeth. Price is reasonable compared to other brands.

The picture should really be updated since I thought I was buying the older revision. While the jacks pictured are not the ones I received (the new ones have a different style now) they are nicer then the old version, the splines are one piece instead of two reducing the chances of having them move around. I really don't see the issue with the old ones as far as how tight they go in, because the new version I accidentally ripped the wires out of while trying to unplug them as my fingers slipped off the grips, I had to use pliers to unplug them from a mini amplifier because I couldn't grip them properly, I'm not that weak. Plenty tight for what they are used for. They should be one piece but need less tension.

Works perfect with 12 gauge wire. I like these because they look professionally made, and they were just as easy as the other kind of terminal that pinches the wire with a set screw. If you're doing anything larger that 12G though, you'll need different plugs.

These banana plugs have a quality feel to them, and the solder/crimp-free installation is very convenient. However, the banana tips are longer than other types of banana plug ends available; although these banana plugs snapped right into the terminals on my subwoofer box, there was about 1/3 of the gold plug still sticking out (it didn't sit flush). I always thought all banana plugs sit flush to the terminal, but apparently not since the Sewell plugs have that extra length.

These plugs are great. For the most part I've gone wireless, with a Sonos system. But I have some Bose speakers that I just couldn't give up, so I bought the Sonos Connect: Amp which allows me to use those wired speakers. With these Banana Plugs, setup was a snap. The plugs are easy to connect to speaker wire, and they securely hold that connection. Now I'm enjoying my Bose speakers again and the sound is great.

I purchased these gold-plated plugs for my subwoofer on my DJ rig, and they work perfectly. Much faster than threading a wire through a screw and having to tighten it down, the plugs make it a simple "plug 'n' play" and shaves precious minutes off my setup time.
