I like to restore and upgrade old Macs -- part of the challenge of this is finding a compatible drive. The MSATA form factor is great because there are tons of adapters that convert it over to various other protocols.I've used this drive with IDE adapters for several G4 Macs with great success. DRAM or DRAMless doesn't much matter when your IDE bus will only run at 66MBs under perfect situations. These drives have no issue maxing out what bandwidth is available.OS9 starts right after the chime and PPC OSX loads after a few seconds more. It's hard to go back to a regular spinning HDD. I can't wait to try this with Sorbet Leopard and a dual G5 to see the difference.

Product fit perfectly, and did everything I wanted. When I received the drive, the package was so beat up I figured it was broken right out of the box. The drive was ok!. The reason I didnt give 5 stars was because of the way it was handled in shipping. A m.2 solid state drive in an Amazon prime bag??? Come on!. Do better!

Unfortunately, the drive died after six months.

Originally, I received a defective SSD but the seller was prompt to replace a new one that is working as expected.

works well easy install boots normal so far no problems I use this on a retro gaming and HTPC

I'm happy about my purchase but I clearly did not know all of the different feature types of SSD's that are available. As of now, I do not know if I purchased the correct unit for me or if I paid too much.

I am very disappointed so far. There were NO instructions that came with this drive. I installed it on my computer and .... nothing! I have tried contacting the company that made it and so far have had no luck. I am really hoping I can get it to work.

i replaced the standard sd card with this ssd for my os on one of the raspberry pi i have. booting and loading apps are quick. thinking of getting one for my desktop as well

Mi laptop, ahora la debo de reiniciar una o dos veces antes de poderla usar, producto de muy baja calidad, no lo recomiendo
