Q: Can you put it left or right?

Yes you can...but...the button faces the wrong way. It makes it unusable. Flipping to the left is the wrong way.

Q: Wondering if i should get the m36 or m37? is the m 37 worth the extra 20 bucks?

I have only ordered the M37. I cannot speak to the M36. I have ordered these for 4 different firearms and am very happy with the value they provide.

Q: Will this coexist with the Romeo 5?

No, it can coexist with the red dot sight comes with .83 inch riser mount.

Q: Do your magnifiers distort dot on 3-5x? i tried 2 different magnifiers on a romeo 5 and a vortex sparc ar and both dots distorted into a line at 3-5x

Mine does not. I have the M37 magnifier paired with the Feyachi V30 red dot, no issues at all except for my astigmatism. I’ve found that turning the brightness down helps that.
