Good tight grip and long life
I use these to attach my sprinkler valves to the piping stub outs. Although this type of fitting should never be used in this type of application where there is no restraint , I have used them for 25 years and never had a problem. They outlast the sprinkler valves and when a valve fails I also replace these adapters.
