Works Good on BMW X3 M40i
Helps remove the oil filter canister cap. Do not use too long a drive or you will have issues with clearance when turning the last turns while removing.

Made oil changes easier
I purchased this socket in order to change the oil filter on my 2019 Mini Countryman. It made the job much easier, due to the shallow depth of the socket. A must-have for DIY!

Thanks GM for making me have to buy another tool
I was ready to change the oil in my new ca; I previously had a car with the gm ecotec motor, so I knew it had a cartridge filter and that the socket was 32 mm to open the cap. Great! cause I bought 1 1/4 socket for the old car. Well, much to my dismay, there's maybe an inch between the cartridge cap and a hard line. so my normal socket wont fit. Hence why you need to buy this socket. It works well and I have no complaints about the tool. All my rage and ire are solely directed at the junior engineer who designed the new ecotec engine.
