Works great!
Easy to use. Has a metal holder to keep it from damaging a surface. The holder is very flimsy, so I just lay the soldering iron on a ceramic plate.

Wishing the cord was longer but it's exactly what I needed.
I just wanted something that heats up so I can poke holes in plastic containers and use those for planters. I know it'll come in handy for other projects too. Immediately after using it, I imagine because of the heat, the top and part of the middle metal part have turned a dingy color. I imagine from getting hot, melting plastic on it, and that it wasn't going to stay pretty. Still good for the price and I'm probably going to use it a lot.

Does the job
I bought this item for a project I was working on. This little number worked just fine for what I needed. It came with it's different style attachments which I liked but it had NO INSTRUCTIONS!! I guess for someone who knows how to use it's fine but for me/us that have never EVER used or needed one, well it just would have been nice to have them. Yes I'm sure it's not rocket science and I figured it out there's not much to it but I like to have INSTRUCTIONS!!Anyways it heats up pretty fast, does what it's supposed to do, and the attachments are easy to switch out even with out the instructions. The little so called stand is useless so I used a plate to set the hot iron on.All in all it did it's job and did it well I'm happy.

Heats up FAST!
I use this in my lamp making hobby. I found that this one heats up really fast and melts the solder evenly and quickly. I love the fine tip and the assortment of extra tips that came with it too.

It works great but the tips always get stuck to it and it randomly stops working at times. But other than that I recommend
