I really love the build quality of these pencils. Typically have used the Staedtler, but have stopped because they simply print too much crap on the side of their pencil including the barcode. Ugly and impacts the feel. So I love the design, weight, and rigidness of the body of this pencil. Edges are very defined but yet gently refined and smoothed out. I’d say the former is like Mercedes whereas Rotring is like the Audi - more more sporty and modern. Not your grandpas or grandmas drafting pencil. Go for it! You won’t be disappointed. Get yourself a nice eraser while you’re at it! Let your creative energy release because you’ve got the coolest pencil at the cafe!

I’ve been using good old #2 pencils in my wood shop for decades. They’ve been sharpened with knives, sandpaper, and occasionally pure frustration. They’re still nearby but lately they’re feeling a little neglected. I picked up the rOtring 600 mostly out of curiosity, and now it’s usually the first thing I grab. It has a solid, confidence-inspiring heft, feels great in the hand, and lays down a crisp, even line every single time. No sharpening, no guessing, no “is this dull or am I?” It’s accurate, comfortable, and just feels right when you’re marking cuts or jotting notes. The #2 hasn’t been fired, it’s just been demoted. If you like tools that feel purposeful and well-made, this pencil fits right in. Turns out even old shop habits can be improved.

Next level mechanical pencil. Once you buy this, you really won’t want anything cheaper again. It feels great in the hand, writes smooth, and the build quality is on a whole different level. The silver finish looks clean and sharp too. I keep this in my EDC and it’s become my go to pencil for everything. Great purchase.

This is honestly one of, if not the best mechanical pencils I’ve ever used. It feels super solid with its all-metal body, has a nice weight to it, and writes really smooth and precise. The knurled grip is great—no slipping at all—and the hex shape keeps it from rolling off your desk, off your desk, which I didn’t know I needed until now. It’s definitely heavier than your average pencil but more me that helps with my control. If you like quality tools and don’t mind spending $20 for a pencil that will last literally forever please try this The next one I will purchase and if I had to do it again would have been the 600 .7mm version but I’m not complaining

I use this everyday. I’m a pencil guy, I make mistakes. This pencil is obviously very well crafted, good looking, and just functional. Don’t need a sharpener. Just a thumb. Highly recommend.

Friend really enjoyed the gift. I love Rotring products, especially their mechanical pencils, and when I saw this on Amazon I was blown at the price and thought it would be a great gift for a friend who recently graduated. Said friend told me recently how great the pencil was and wanted to share it’s quality with others!

Beautiful, I love it!!

Very nice smooth, doesn't hurt the hand while holding it. Not to heavy and ive dropped it a few times with bo breakage or issues.
