Awesome upgrade

A very good upgrade to stock speakers.

Okay seeing low star reviews I was skeptical. But my old speakers would crackle when talking to people. So for the price I figured why not? At a minimum it would take out the crackle…I hoped. Doing this process I learned that sena does firmware updates. Well dang…I always thought the app was wack now I know why. Just go to the website through a PC and use the usb to hook the sena to it. Lots of YouTube vids out there. If I knew that I would probably have tried that first. Lots of things you can edit with sound now. Anyways. Super easy to install. Removed the old speakers places these in the helmet and bam. I set the speakers to HD while connected to the PC. Then used the app on my phone to make adjustments while listing to music. Wow what a difference turning off and on the HD makes. I listened to music just before the swap so the sound of the old speakers would be fresh in my head. Just changing the speakers made a small improvement but after the correct setup it is a definitely a 40$ difference and with the cost. I would say the sound quality is decent, not the best compared to way better audio headphones. However compared to the old speakers it is a great improvement.

After my left speaker stopped working on my 50s I bought these replacements and now I'm jamming while going down the road again. Sound is loud and clear.

Unfortunately, when you have a SENA, these are the only choice you have for headphones. This is my 5th pair. they only last for 6 months to a year and then the left side goes out. It's always the left side which leads me to believe that this is by design. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a whole new system but I would never buy a SENA product again since this is the kind of quality you get from them.

I bought these thinking they would be an "upgrade" over stock 20s speakers allowing me to enable HD mode.WRONG.They are no better in any way.

These speakers do not use the factory set screw. So far this does not appear to be problem. Speakers were a direct connect and push right into the factory connection. After a thousand miles I have no issues other than poor base sounds and this may be related to the bikes sound system.
