Not just good. Good enough.
Easy on and off and I can walk across my skating rink of a parking lot with no fear. Have only used for a month so I can't speak to durability, but the construction seems good for the price point. Used on a US men's 11 shoe the large is a perfect fit. Not sure if that would hold true for a bulky boot of the same size.Others have commented on the lack of cleats on the heel. That is accurate. But after some timid testing and shuffling about to make sure I wouldn't end up on my butt, I have found that I can walk in complete confidence across very slick surfaces without altering my normal gait or compensating in any way.I have not tested in deep snow, off road, or on rough terrain, and would not expect them to perform like professional ice climbing cleats, because that isn't what they are. I just want them to prevent me from turning an ankle or looking like a dummy walking across the sheer ice over pavement I sometimes encounter on the way to work, and they have been exactly what I needed.

Perfect Traction for Casual Walking on Ice and for Fat Biking
I live in New Hampshire where ice is very common all winter. I keep traction devices in my car at all times and I have tried a number of different ones. In the past, I have used Microspikes for everything, because they worked better than anything else I have ever tried. However, they are heavier, scratch things if carried around inside your bag/purse and are overkill unless you are hiking up steep inclines, etc. (not to mention a lot more expensive and require 2 hands to put on). These Ice Grip traction devices FIT THE BILL for casual/everyday walking on ice. Not only are they fantastic for everyday ice walking, they are perfect for wearing while riding my Fat Bike. The traction devices do not interfere with my pedals (Microspikes do interfere with pedals) and when I have to put a foot down while biking, I have the traction I need to prevent slipping. For the price, these are fantastic. The studs do fall off (I lost 4 on my first ride), but the kit comes with extras. For this price, there is nothing better. Another thing to mention is they are very easy to put on and pull off your shoes and they STAY ON.

I would like to give these a 5 star but...
For the price they work as advertised but after the first wearing I had to replace one of the cleats immediately. What they don't tell you is you must walk in these as if you're marching. One foot up and then down flat. Do not drag, scrap or shuffle your foot. The cleat will come off immediately. The cleats just pop in and there is not much to hold them in place. Thereby the caution about how to walk in them. They are easy to slip and off. And fold up compactly. Get a plastic bag to carry them around if you're not on ice continuously. The first-time walking takes a few minutes to get used it. Make sure you get this particular type with the extra cleats. You'll need them. Again, for the price and the occasion use it's worth it.

Fantastic! I am a returning customer
I bought these cleated things last in 2018. This company and their cleats are the BEST.2021 I bought from another company in order to get the extra extra extra extra Large for my husband. But for myself, I like these cleats above all others.

Good for shoveling driveway or going to and from your car, but not for long distance walking
I purchased these because I have to walk on ice daily. Unfortunately, they do not fit well as the rear spikes do not stay under the boot heel of the boot. In addition, these are pretty cheaply made. After only 2 days use I had one spike come out. I was able to put it back in, but it is pretty clear that these cleats will not hold up to heavy use. In addition, while I haven't slipped or fallen using these cleats, they just don't feel secure because they don't fit properly. Consequently, since I have to walk 3-4 miles per day on ice during the winter, I have decided to spend the extra money and purchase a higher quality boot cleat. These cleats would be fine for shoveling snow on an icy driveway or for getting to and from a car, but if you are a pedestrian who needs traction walking on ice, I strongly suggest that you spend the extra money to purchase a higher quality cleats.UPDATE: After slightly more than a weeks use, two cleats have come out of the rubber and were completely lost. In addition, after a week of moderate walking the studs are already wearing down. This seems to confirm my original conclusion that these would be okay for very light use, but not for much more.

Easy to put on and work great in the ice
I bought these grips for a winter tour of Yellowstone Park. Many people in the group had grips and by the end of the tour, the seasoned winter travelers were asking me where I got mine. They were so easy to put on, stayed in place and I didn’t slip once during the trip. I saw many other grips lose traction, but these were great - reasonably priced too.

Slide off boots easily
At first I was delighted with how easily the ice grips slipped onto my boots. However the very stretchy silicone rubber slips off just as easily and the cleats slide out of their holes. I use these for dog walking in Minnesota where winter is serious business and have had several pairs over the years. I know what to expect. During the first outing with these I lost one along the way. To be fair, I had clambered through a snow drift and figured it was my own fault, so I ordered another pair. I now have just under six miles on the new set and have lost and recovered a grip twice as well as lost three cleats. As shown in the pic, I've tied the grips to the boot laces so I won't lose them again until I can replace them with a decent product. Ice grips should also have the back cleats on the heel, not under the arch. If all you need do is creep out to the mailbox and back, these will be ok. For any hiking they're a bad choice.

Best product. Easy to use.
These are easy to put on and they last about 1 1/2 winters. I live in a rural area and once I put them on my boots, they're on for the season. It's the walking on asphalt and cement that wears them down. This product includes replacement studs, so I suspect I'll get more mileage. Very good product.
